I don't like this business policy either.
That's why the BTCC only becomes interesting when all vehicles are available. Sometime next year maybe.
We have our touring cars here in RR. The Caterham is definitely the highlight.
Hopefully more fixes and updates to come. Especially the AI needs it.

Not a good long term forecast:

$3.80 million cash on hand with a current burn rate of $1.2-$1.4 million per month and no investors to obtain more funds from. Also mentioned again MSGM are worried about their ability to remain a going concern.

Sadly the Caterham has the FFB of a limp celery and is missing the front wheels in cockpit view. It's by far the worst part of the Q3 content. S397 pulled the car on release, did a quick fix and uplaoded it again. It looks great but needs work.

To be fair, the 2 BTCC cars are very good (tyre wear is a slight worry), the Mini also has average FFB but amazing 3D models & the new track is solid.

I would only buy the BTCC in a package.
The Caterham is again typical for S397..
Unfortunately it's not the first time.
    Nothing for me in Q3.
I'm busy with the Porsche Cup Car or Indycar anyway.
I ride TCR here in RR.

Agreed. I haven't bought anything in ages. Much like you, I'd buy the BTCC content in a package but with their financial woes, I'm wondering if we'll ever see a full package.

    A very clear no!
In my opinion, RaceRoom doesn't need to hide behind anyone.
It doesn't have the detailed physics depth of rF2, but sometimes less is better.
Unfortunately, rF2 is still a bug fest. Although it's gotten better. hopefully the AI will be fixed soon!
Because RaceRoom is very strong there.
In the AI, if they work..
    A very good user friendliness.
I love both Sims and switch between them regularly.
The physics in RaceRoom is also very, very good and challenging.
deal with RR more, you will be surprised.
And there is great content here too. .

Are there any known bugs/exploits in the current R3E physics? In RF2 it's turning with too much slip angle, in iRacing it's grass riding and brake dragging, in ACC it's too much sensitivity for tyre pressures. Haven't heard about anything similar in R3E, except for old physics cars.

One could argue that running max camber for free speed with little consequence on tyre wear is one.

The other is more of a feature of Simbin games is the notorious autobin.exe when a RWD car slides laterally - there´s not much you can do once it happens even with the latest tyre model. Compare to AMS2 where you can power slide, drift and catch most cars - perhaps too much to be realistic for the aero cars.

In my opinion, you can do that not because it's more realistic, but because it's built on Madness engine. When the car slides, it's too much of PC2 which I can't call a realistic enough sim.

Interesting. I'll try to test it if I don't forget.

I agree, each engine has its own pros and cons and despite many tweaks over the years the sims are different. Just as well otherwise it woud be pretty boring.

Looking forward to seeing if the drift BMW ever gets released and if it has more forgiving behhaviour.

Hotlap in Zolder with the Cayman GT4.

    https://forum.studio-397.com/index.php?threads/porsche-cayman-gt4-manthey-mr-v1-1.70534/

Developed by Frederick Alonso in collaboration with April Carlsvard a real race engineer.
This vehicle is very demanding and forgives @ limit no mistakes.
At the moment I am not able to break the 1:35:xxx times.
The biggest challenge is that the Cayman doesn't like curbs at all, requires an absolutely precise driving technique without mistakes and without a good setup you won't win anything here!
As I said, a tough challenge for all SimRacers who want to know it exactly.

I am very excited about the upcoming update from Frederick!

Why are you slowing down on the straights for no reason?
