I don't know if I got it what you mean.
You say when you're in game, watching a replay, disabling the default hud and enabling SealHUD?
The thing is RaceRoom kinda like shuts down SealHUD (or the webhud browser).

    Hey Neteye.
    Thank you very much!
I am glad to hear you like the HUD.

I can try something with the fonts yes. What's the problem? They are too small? Too white? No contrast?

About your idea, I will put that into our suggestion box.
Someone already suggested this on Discord.

Right now, I am working more on make everything more reliable.
The HUD have some minor bugs and that's my focus.
But yeah, in the future we could do that.

For me its the font size. For the OtterHUD back then I had a friend make a small mod to it which increased the font size. See attached a comparison (just now quickly taken from two twitch clips so quality is not great obviously)

    I had 2 questions
first related to disappearing delta after getting track limits warning but answer to this one I already was able to find in this thread and I see u want to rework it sooner or later to make it work this way
so only second one remains - would it be possible to store ur track records for car/layout or class/layout to then display delta to this value? mean not only within session but also when u will be back after reset or even few days to it cause atm I think there is no such option but maybe I'm wrong

    Hi Mike!
Yes ... I want to improve the delta behaviour, and that includes allowing it to use a "best lap option" for the car/track the driver is using.

    I noticed something
I had 1:35.008 purple sector 2 on NLS
lap delta was like 0.07 faster at the sector detection point but my s2 record in that particular session was 1:34.813
that's not how it should work, right? if that sector is slower than the fastest one I did in this session it shouldn't matter that overall lap time at this point was faster, it should be grey or whatever colour is set for that not purple

    Yes, you are correct.
I've never noticed this behaviour, but I will have a look.

    @Diego Junges
Request, when i set in my own dedicated server fuel and tyre use off the hud don't set the fastest lap in some history.
    Is this possible?

I think the sector colours actually update AFTER lap is finished
but during the lap colours depends of the lap delta at detection point not the sector time itself

    edit
also seems there is some issue with rating/rep data, it shows 1.5/0 for everyone since few days

OK, so for the issue with rating/rep it's because I need to use a CORS proxy to retrieve ratings data, and the free one I was using stopped working. I just got a partnership with Corsfix and I think now things are going to work better.

Also, I've released version 1.09. Now delta can be kept even on invalid laps.
For your other request (delta using an all-time-best) ... this is harder than I thought. For this to work, I have to keep a record of the whole lap. Like:
    Track: Bathurst
    Car: Lynk & Co 2022
    Meters, Time
    5 meters -> 0.2
    10 meters -> 0.4
    15 meters -> 0.6

and so on for each track....
That can be done... yes, it is possible... but is also a bit hard to implement and also to mantain ...
And this also can be a source of lots of problems, since it needs to store files locally in user's computer.
So, I am sorry man, but for now it won't be implemented.

Hey Jos! The thing is that this is the "Fuel Details" widget ...
And it stores laptimes + fuel / VE consumption ... so, when there are no consumption, nothing is stored.
But I will see what I can do.

    New update.
Now we have a partner: CorsFix. They are helping SealHUD communicate with RaceRoom's public APIs and obtain multiplayer mode data.
Additionally, in this version 1.09, the Delta widget now allows the user to decide whether or not to display the delta on invalid laps.

I understand this and I also thought that this especially may be the issue
in ReHUD it worked but ReHUD was installed locally or however to call it while SealHUD is more "online"

and what about these sector colours? did u looked at this?
I can do some more testing with focus on it to provide more precise info if it will be helpful but I think it works like I said
means the sector colour depends of the delta at detection point and not actual registered sector times in that particular session and then these colours updates after lap is finished for that short period when the "result" of the lap is displayed

hm or maybe this is only "practice" issue or something else, since I'm looking at youtube atm and found some video from 6 months ago (pre-rework but should be the same in this aspect, no?) that doesn't support my theories but this is in race at 1:04 he was 0.007 faster and it's grey so as it should be but that's not what I experienced when I was doing hotlaps on Nordschleife in leaderboard mode last time
not sure how it was in the races for me since I did like only 2 last month and didn't looked at these sector times at all then

    Hey Mike.
Yeah, in fact there's a bug and it only affects the leaderboard mode.
IF you press ESC after completing a valid lap, the HUD will "reset" times for all 3 sectors.
Then, when you back to the track, all your sectors are going to be purple.
IF you keep doing one lap after another (without pressing ESC) it will work OK. But sure, when you're doing leaderboard challenge in Nords, that's kinda not an option o_O
Important to mention that this bug doesn't occur when you're in a normal practice/qualifying/race event.
I will fix this for the next update.
Thanks a lot for reporting man!

That's how it's done in ReHUD too.

    Hey Mask ... Yeah.
This could be done ... but it would take too much time to code and also could be a source of problems in the future.
I don't see this as a "must have" feature ... this is why, I've decided not to implement.

EDIT: Remember that SealHUD is open source. So if any programmer wants to, they can implement features and submit them for testing.

so u only changed the color from purple to green but the "functionality" is still the same when u restart the car, means doesn't follow the sector times until u will finish another lap - but I guess u can't do anything else with it, not big deal

but there is some new weird thing going when u start laps in leaderboards, not sure how it looks like in other modes
    [IMG]
delta now displays how long u are in session before starting lap
it's not even that bad feature since there is no session time running when u are in leaderboard mode, lol

Not at all. The bug is fixed.

    Before:
    In leaderboards
lap 1: all your sectors are marked as best (purple/green ... whatever)
You press ESC > click return to garage > click DRIVE
lap 2: all sectors will be marked as "best", even if you're slower than lap 1

    NOW:
lap 1: all your sectors are marked as best
You press ESC > click return to garage > click DRIVE
lap 2: now, if you do a sector slower than lap 1, it will be grey

About the colors purple vs green:
The "purple" concept suggests you're doing a sector better than the other drivers.
Since you're alone in a leaderboard session, I changed it to green, bc it's your personal best.

    About the weird delta:
It will show up only when you open a new lap in lb.
    Just ignore it for now.

EDIT: IF, you are using the RESTART SESSION button instead, the expected behavior is that all your session sectors will be reset.

actually u can even hit restart session and it works, times doesn't disappear until u will leave the session
my confusion came from the fact that now it's only green and grey, there is no purple - I thought that if I will have record sector it will be purple, so sorry for confusion

but wait because there is another thing I noticed o_O
clutch % doesn't show correct value in input meter but I'm not really sure is this game issue or some leftover from inputs scalling issue u fixed on throttle and brake some time ago, I'm not sure because for some reason devs decided that it's useless to have input % not only in that native input meter but even in main menu
I have bite point at 29% (left paddle) but in hud it shows 25, right paddle shows 69%
when I use both it shows 100% - it seems like the lower the % the greater the disproportion is
it's also the same on foot pedal - I looked at T-LCM software and SealHUD in the same time

    edit
there are also some issues with how sectors on the bar displays now
u doing some valid sectors, lap is invalidated and then u starting another lap and the previous registered sectors from that invalidated lap shows up on the bar until u will complete sector on the current lap
also after finishing lap seems like the sectors stays up until u will finish another sector instead disappearing after few seconds (I think it was something like 7s?) but I'm not sure is this intentional change or not
