i have this but it does not work what can i set in game? maybe something is not right in game settings
Version 0.4 is now live! The bug of disappearing widgets is fixed! And also a bunch of new track data! Thanks to all of you who keep informing us about anything wrong. You are very important to this project! =) We'll keep going!
Thanks for the good work (again) Do you maybe have a look at the delay of the starting lights? This time, after the update, everything stays on the same place as before the update. Only thing what is gone, is the info of the fastest lap a drove on that circuit. And i think it should, because my setting are okay. Or I misses something.
Hey, man. About the delay in the starting lights. This is caused by communication with the shared API (through dash.exe). This used to be a problem, and the delay could be up to 0.5 seconds. But since the new dash.exe released by KW, this delay is now almost zero. We measured it, and it's now around 0.04 seconds, which is very good. About the issue you're experiencing with data loss, I really don't know what's going on. SealHud stores all data in the RaceRoom built-in browser cache. This is the directory: C:\Users\***your user***\Documents\My Games\SimBin\RaceRoom Racing Experience\Browser Data\Cache\Default\Local Storage\leveldb And it should look something like this: Our updates shouldn't delete anything. Perhaps deleting LOCAL STORAGE folder and letting the HUD create a new one might solve the problem.
That about the delay is good news, and now you'r e saying this and i'm looking back my last race the places i dropped back was just one place. Normaly is this most of the time 2 or 3. Below in the image is what i seen in that folder.
You can go back 2 levels, and rename the folder "Local Storage" to "Local Storage_old" (or something like that). That way, RR's browser will recreate that folder and new data files. Sure that, if you do this, all your current data will be "lost". But you can recover it by restoring "Local Storage_old".
Thanks for your answer, but i'm a little bit a pc-noob sometimes and i don't know exactly what to do with the last line. "But you can recover it by restoring "Local Storage_old"
You can undo everything by renaming "Local Storage_old" folder back to "Local Storage". That way, all your previous data will be loaded by the hud.
First, great work!! Second, does SealHud requires the game to run in Windowed-borderless mode or is it okay to use it in full screen?
I think i get it done Thanks for helping, and keep up the good work. Let's make Otter/SelHud great again.
Hi everyone, is it possible to enlarge the HUD overall and increase the distance from the eyes? I'm driving in VR.
Hi guys, I hope you're having a good day. Can anyone help me? I tried both ways to use SealHud, but I couldn't get it to appear on my screen.
Make sure you have put this line in Raceroom's startup parameters in Steam: -webHudUrl=https://sealhud.github.io/
I haven't found a way. There are buttons you can assign in the game to move HUD closer/further, but they don't do anything.
