Same issue. I already wrote at least 4 e-mails, tried to contact with the service desk on the raceroomstore website, wrote to the regarding known issue thread, but no answer yet.
My situation is even more bizarre. I made the payment and received the code immediately. However, they sent a code that had already been used... I've had no response for 3 days.
I have received the code yesterday (it works, VRPs already spent, haha) late night (around 23:30)... I did send them one more email, reminding them that it has been 4 working days since I have sent first report!
The same issues are being reported on Discord. In some isolated cases, people have apparently waited more than a few weeks for a response or for their codes. However, they are currently working through the backlog. I received my codes yesterday, and everything worked fine with them.
I received my code for VRP's! My collection is almost complete again. Lesson learned, not order VRP anymore through the store (despite the interesting discount).
Nowadays the difference between the standard Steam wallet discount and the VRP one is minimal, so indeed when issues like this happen, it may not be worth the hassle.
Im in a situation where id like to buy the touring car pack (to get the citroen liveries im missing) but i cant because the pack is being displayed as owned. Is there any workaround for that?
There's some issue with the backend + the removed Citröen for sale, because if you open that pack's store page in a private window (without user login), then the C's won't even show (iirc, as they aren't licensed for sale anymore); whereas if you are logged in and own the cars, they'll still be listed in that page. Likely the reason the pack will show as owned for you even if missing some Citröen liveries, as the pack itself won't add those cars or liveries, regardless if the pack's page is still listing those cars for you at the bottom.
Im aware of the general issues, just wondering if theres anything that can done to bypass them . Chances are the pack officially isnt supposed to contain the citroens but im pretty sure ive read about it unlocking for people after buying the pack
Oh wow, I haven't noticed that. Yup, it did add missing liveries and a missing 2017 car. Not buying Vallelunga on release paid off much more than I thought. Shame that not everyone can buy it...
may be related to issue where for eg GT3 car doesn't cost these 0.29 or 0.15 when u own it under other class but full price - it happened few days ago but doesn't seem intended after some discussions on discord yesterday when it will be fixed? who knows, maybe this century if we will be lucky
