RACEROOM’S DECEMBER UPDATE ROLLS OUT SUPER TOURING CARS, SILVERSTONE CLASSIC, ESTORIL AND MORE

KW Studios and RaceRoom Entertainment are proud to announce the upcoming December 10th update for RaceRoom. This release builds up on the success of the DTM 1995 in September and brings even more legendary touring cars, classic tracks, and free updates to the RaceRoom community.

SUPER TOURING CARS: A TRIBUTE TO RACING LEGENDS

The December update introduces a collection of iconic Super Touring cars, capturing the golden era of touring car racing.
The initial cars that will be released are:

    • Audi A4
    • BMW E36
    • Honda Accord
    • Volvo 850
    • Volvo S40

This release also celebrates KW Automotive’s first-ever motorsport sponsorship with the inclusion of Stingl’s Honda Accord, an enduring symbol of our history in racing. And this is just the beginning—more models will be added in future updates, ensuring an ever-growing lineup of fan-favorite touring cars.

    SILVERSTONE CLASSIC AND ESTORIL

    Silverstone Classic

Race on the legendary layout of Silverstone as it appeared in the 1990s, offering an authentic glimpse into motorsport history.

    [IMG][IMG]

    Estoril

Experience the modern version of this iconic Portuguese track, alongside the distinctive layout, providing new challenges for racers to master.

    Free Update for Monza

As part of our ongoing commitment to evolving RaceRoom content, the December update includes a free upgrade to Monza. The track has been brought up to 2024 specifications, ensuring it reflects the latest standards and continues to deliver the most accurate experience.

DYNAMIC TRACK EVOLUTION: A FIRST STEP

As part of our continued development, this update introduces a first feature towards dynamic tracks in RaceRoom. Cars going offroad and rejoining the track will now bring grass, dirt, or gravel back onto the racing surface. This adds an extra layer of realism and challenge, as drivers must adapt to these dynamic changes during races.

    [IMG][IMG]

    AN EVER-EVOLVING RACING SIMULATION

With this update, RaceRoom once again demonstrates its commitment to keeping content fresh and relevant. Our approach ensures tracks and cars are not static snapshots in time but continuously updated to meet the latest standards and bring fans closer to the real-life counterparts they emulate.

Now this is an update I'm genuinely excited about! Always loved the Super Tourers in the BTCC, but have had to rely on dubious mods in ancient sims in order to drive them for years. Can't wait for this one, and am also looking forward to the future additions they teased.

Would love the 850 Estate as I can imagine it's handling characteristics would be rather interesting

Will the tracks be able to be purchased separately?

Yes, one thing is the car pack and the other is the individual tracks. Same as with DTM 95 and Avus etc.

Looks aren't everything, I know, but these cars looks like they're straight out of a PS2 game. The DTM '95 cars are spot on, so I wonder what's with the decline in quality? Why the rush?

I see what he's talking about. BMW and old Volvos do look a bit too simple.
