Through discord they have announced the arrival of drifting this month. But it won't be the only thing apparently, I wonder what more things could arrive soon, could it be the interface change perhaps?
UI was "teased" for Q2/Q3 so probably not maybe the LMDh BMW which they shown teaser of few months ago on their social media or something new since they pull some surprising stuff at times
It may make sense since the two drift cars are BMW. The Alemannering circuit also comes to mind, since a colleague posted an article here days ago that hinted at that possibility.
They have also announced a free update that will improve the Macau circuit. For me, from what I have seen so far, this update will be the best news by far.
The article is wrong about the hillclimb though. First, it's longer than 12.6 km (i think it were 17.9?) and secondly there is no elimination style like it is described there.
It is true that it is longer, the information in the store's text is also wrong. I've seen that it lets you race against nine rivals, but I haven't seen the elimination if it exists, I guess not.
Yeah, now that it is confirmed that we do not get a single car class with the BMW, i actually also expect the Porsche to come, because i feel like Porsche is quite generous with their cars (we have many of them).
Speculation alert! 1) Am I the only one who thinks that the track we see in the new BMW screenshot might actually be Le Mans? On the top, it looks like turn four to me, and on the bottom, I see the creast after turn three. 2) Am I the only one who thinks that the sunset looks differently? The sun is very low, which makes me dream of a day-and-night-cycle. There couldn't be a better point in time to announce this than alongside with content for the 24h of Le Mans. Feel free to destroy my dream, if you're sure that I'm going too crazy with this.
In my opinion, chances of it happening this year are low, let alone in the middle of the year. Plus, in order to have long endurance races in proper way we still need driver swap and/or SP session saves, and also dynamic track conditions (at least temperatures change). Otherwise, there's not much fun in hotlapping solo for 6/12/24 hours straight.
