I wonder how many of them will make their way to RaceRoom in 2026 as well. Let's have a look into the glass bowl. :D

In 2025, we got 13 cars and 3 tracks. This is actually way more than it felt like to be honest, but it shows how busy our devs are. ;)
Assuming for now that capacities to bring cars in 2026 are the same as in 2025 and 13 cars for 2026 are realistic, let's see how it looks HYPOTHETICALLY with the list above.

According to GridTalk 7, LMP2 and LMP3 cars are in the making, which is - well, at least two cars. A free cup car is confirmed as well. If one of the 'three missing' super touring cars is already being worked on or they are only planned, was not really clear to me. In GridTalk 6, a fourth Hypercar in the making was confirmed. If the plan to get Aston and Ford GT3s ready for the next DTM season works, two more spots are already taken.
This list is a total of 4-10 (a wide range, I know :D) new cars for 2026.

    So, it's 3-9 places left.

As being part of DTM 2026 and the 'base models' already in the sim, Ferrari 296 GT3 Evo, Mercedes AMG-GT3 'Mk2' and Porsche 911 GT3 R 2026 wouldn't be too much of a surprise. Sadly, this already takes all the available development slots for cars if everything above is realised, so Lamborghini Temerario GT3 and Ford Mustang GT3 Evo are probably less realistic, even if part of DTM 2026 as well.
An updated BMW Hypercar would be strange as well, if you ask me. However, why not? ;)
For GT4, the McLaren Artura GT4 would be an upgrade over the 570S, but is there really a need for upgrading the - in my eyes - somehow outdated GT4 grid? I'm not sure.
More interesting could be the BMW M2 Racing 2026 cup series, as this runs as a DTM support series in 2026, but as there are already two BMW cup cars available, it shouldn't (?) be top priority.
What about the Porsche Cup 992.2 then? Similar situation as with the BMW M2, but Porsche Cup could be a candidate for an eSports series.

With all of the cars mentioned in the last paragraph, our 9 free slots are filled. Somehow, with all of the licensing required for these cars and many Evo versions that would be an update to a car that hasn't even found its way to RaceRoom yet (or just a few months ago), I'd expect less new content in 2026 than this year. And you know what? I'd surely take quality over quantity, and with the insane variety of tracks and cars we already have, I'm more excited for new features to arrive. :)

    From their Discord server:

The license for Laguna Seca has expired. We’re currently working on a new contract to bring it back. In the meantime… an iconic Belgian track will return very soon

    Here we go again... :D
the next GridTalk goes live on 18th March, so Q1 2026 update in March seems to be the plan.
    --------------------
    "New Cars"
    - Alpine A110 Cup teased -> free cup car originally planned for Q4 2025?
    - ? (maybe a GT4 version of the Alpine A110, unlikely LMP3, even more unlikely LMP2, maybe one of the 'missing' but worked-on Super Touring cars (Peugeot, Nissan, Ford), maybe Alpine LMDh as one of the 1-2 worked-on Hypercars)
    --------------------
    "New Tracks"
    - Spa-Francorchamps for sure
    - ? (Out-of-nowhere-speculation, but - Dijon (3x), Magny-Cours (5x), Barcelona (5x), Mugello (1x), Misano (1x), Valencia (1x) and Circuit Mont-Blanc (1x) are or were on the Alpine A110 cup calendar between 2018 and 2026 [AI research result] )
    --------------------
    "Game Updates"
    - ? (For the endurance championship, driver swaps would be helpful, but I can't believe they launch them with the current server stability. On the other hand, maybe server issues are caused by research on driver swaps? :D)
    --------------------
I'm hyped for a new manufacturer. This mid-engine cup car with 1050kg and 200kW (lighter than the MX-5 and more power, comparable to the Audi TT) will deliver such good racing. If Spa really returns, we will have one of the best race tracks on this planet back.

means probably main menu UI they announced months ago
swaps won't happen for long time since they need to rework some engine functions to implement it

    Oh, this would be wonderful.
Right, there's much more to it than server structure things.

Could anyone post the teaser and where "New Cars", "New tracks", "New updates" come from?

Can't wait until it drops, so the hitching will finally stop. :(

Found the issue. I got to either use Seal Hud or turn the webhud link off. The game is looking for it while I try playing without it. Its a me issue. Sorry about that.

Call me crazy, but could this be Barcelona?

The big grandstand looks very alike, but I struggle to identify the smaller ones in the teaser.

The livery on the teaser should be from the 2023 or 2024 Alpine elf Cup (only these two seasons featured a #63 car that could be the shown one). For the 2024 season, the only two tracks missing are Spa and Barcelona. For 2023, it would be Magny-Cours, Dijon and Valencia.
I don't know about the 2026 season though, there are no entry lists yet.

So, in addition to the Alpine Cup, we will have the Alpine GT4. Hopefully some serious challenger for the McLaren. :)
