I recently received an inexplicable time penalty of 60 seconds after the end of the race. There was no overlay during the race and no notice, even after the race.

Have the rules on time penalties been changed recently, especially penalties for jump starts or speeding in the pit lane?

If so, why are such changes not published?

No changes that I heard of, but there's a bug or whatever that in rare cases results in you getting a time penalty after the race. Not sure if I heard what can cause it.

Are you using a custom HUD? If yes, did you enable essential messages in the ingame HUD? You need to do that or else you won't be notified about your penalties.

Was there a mandatory pit stop in that race?

As majuh said if you dont have the ingame hud set to at least essential messages you might simply not be able to see some stuff. If so there are a number of very explicable scenarios related to not serving smaller penalties (e.g. cutting the track and not giving back the time gained, overtaking under yellow and not giving the position back, jumping the start or speeding in the pitlane and not serving the drive through for it). I dont know which of them would result in a 60 second time penalty tho so its difficult to tell what mightve been the issue in your case

Ignoring the mandatory tyre change is 90 seconds, BTW.

Sorry, I've been looking for an answer for two weeks. I am aware of your possible solutions.

Of course, I have always activated the essential messages. Nevertheless, I had no display for penalties, neither for early start nor for speeding in the pitlane or other.

In this race (online multiplayer) the cut rules were "off". Mandatory Pitstop was "on" and I made the pit stop. Flag rules were "visual only".

Someone explained to me that Raceroom no longer has a drive-through penalty for early starts and speeding in the pit lane, but a 30-second time penalty after the race without these penalties being displayed to the player.
    Is that correct?

not sure about that, unless it's been silently changed in the last patch. Early start or speeding in pit lane gives you a drive-through and you have 3 laps to do. If you don't and there are more than 3 laps to go you are disqualified, if less than 3 laps to go, the game gives you a time penalty at the end of the race, but I don't remember the exact additional time.

Did you change tyres? 2 or 4?

    And what was the track?

I changed 2 tyres as recommended. The track was Spa GP.
