I suppose the 100% is taking into account a security gap so the engine won't suffer and won't be at its max capacity, like every machine and especially engines are supposed to be built. On another point, clipping concerns only the signal going outside of the game, you can have clipping with a Thrustmaster panel set to 1%, and will have the same at 100% cause it's measured in the game and not related with the engine itself or the driver settings. Setting Thrustmaster panel at 100% and doing the rest in each game is OK anyway. You can want 50% in R3E, 30% in Dirt and 60% in AC, so it's easier to let the driver panel to the same value.
Can you link the post you refer to or link your settings (im on a TX) Im curious as increasing the vert to such levels and lowering the intensity so it wont clip at 300 seems to me to be the same as running reasonable vert and high intensity, does it not? Im curious why the intensity is so low and the vert ridiculously high. Is it a case of having mild forces elsewhere (with super low intensity) and just wheel stiffness precision from high vert settings. And since the physics update are these settings feasible currently?
