Does anyone have any ideas here? This is off of a fresh install after being away for a while. 34" ultrawide if it makes a difference: [edit: sorry, should have mentioned - watch until the end and see what the view looks like when I actually load into the car! ]
Is it the same for all cars or only for this one? Maybe some cockpit camera settings went wild. Delete/move this car's .uvm file from this folder: Documents\My games\SimBin\RaceRoom Racing Experience\UserData\CarSetups" There are also some camera reset buttons in Settings - Controls - Key bindings, like "Cockpit camera pitch reset". P.S. I use 34" ultrawide too and it's fine.
Great question, I should have mentioned in my original post that I tested across multiple cars and they are all this way.
Wow, I am old enough to know to try this first by now, but I revalidated via Steam - 1 file failed to validate (3.6 KB). After update, looks perfect! Sorry & thank you!
Now I wonder what file it was. Something that affects your default camera settings might be interesting...
Yeah, I snooped around a bit looking to see if I could figure out which file was touched, but I'm not seeing anything obvious. The update was 3.6 KB, that's about all I got.
