I already own the previous version of Spa, with 3 layouts, all of which are 7.004km. This new one has 4 layouts, again all of them are 7.004km, and the layouts all look identical. So what makes this worth buying? If it's just the addition of a bit of new paint & graphic enhancements here and there, I can't see the incentive to buy. It would surely have been better to at least add the old bus stop version.
The old version of Spa still has the old runoffs and surroundings before the circuit was renovated in 2022. The Classic and Combined layouts use different pit lanes. The Moto layout uses the tighter apex at Speakers Corner, so the length of that layout should actually be slightly lower.
Thanks majuh, appreciate the info, OK, some altered runoffs and a tighter apex for the moto layout. (but the different pit lanes already appear in both versions). I normally to collect them all but sadly I don't think that's enough difference to justify me buying it again, except maybe in the future at a very generous sale price.
Just for completeness sake, within game context a somewhat crucial difference is that you can drive the new spa on ranked/competitions/leaderboards which is not possible with the old spa. But yeah, purely track wise the differences are minor
I've heard that new Spa is more accurate to the real one and it definitely feels a bit different than the old one.
