OK I tested it out and recorder work perfect so do the viewer looking at the recorded file When right-clicking another lap its values are directly compared to the current active lap, that part I cant figgure out, nothing happens when I right klick on another lap. But I gues you ref. to import another recording?? I don't get the dotted line or the black bigger dot you have in your pictures.
Updated the components for the latest r3e-api. However given the huge size, by default the "alldriverdata" is not recorded, but has to be enabled specifically. Don't have support for the names yet, so they are never shown.
@Mich Angel no need for another import, it should work. You can PM or attach a zipped version of your trace file.
Can't you just exclude elements in that array if the name field for that element is blank (all nulls)?
The issue is rather that the internals of the viewer assumed single numerical values for all properties. It was just more work to do it, that's why I took a break and released what I had, prior to fixing it properly with allow strings as values. With such a change I may then print the "enums" properly as well (PitStatus... not just as number but as text).
it's improved now, text is treated as "0" for sampling, gradients... but their values are printed correctly in the "value" field in the viewer.
is it possible to have a wave line graph? like the normal telemtry software such as motec. I feel that can allow more detailed view into certain data. Also is it possible to show the laptime variance in a wave line graph for the lap comparisons? this is a very crucial data needed for comparing 2 laps. Great work so far !
@Gege Out of curiosity what is your primary usage? Analysis of laps or development using shared memory?
Analysis of laps. I'm looking for a better understanding of my 'mistakes' in order to improve myself. ;-)
Hi guys, sorry I'm a bit lost. Where do I install it? Where is the r3t file to read? I'm a newbie in R3E.
hey Christoph, do you think this handy companion will get an update withe the new R3E features in it?
