My new Oculus Rift DK2 does not install correctly but works ok with Assetto Corsa and Project Cars but Raceroom does not see it as a display. Any ideas?
Right click on raceroom in steam, go into properties and then press launch properties, there you type: -vr Then press ok and start the game.
By the way, are you using Steam VR beta? Cause the beta is currently not working with Raceroom, so if you do have steam vr in beta, opt out from that and try again.
Thanks I am unsure if it is Beta or not, I will look tomorrow, I have not explained my problem well, the HMD is not available in Raceroom as a display as windows has not installed it , although it works well enough it is not in the Device manager or as a display in the GeForce control panel, I have no idea how to get Windows 10 to install it.
If steam can find your HMD for AC and Pcars, I don't see why it wouldn't work in Raceroom. Your not suppose to select a HMD in the options in raceroom. To use Raceroom in VR you just type "-vr" in the Raceroom launch options in properties from your steam library. For steam vr beta check In steam library, go to tools and find steamvr, right click on it and go into properties, then press the tab that says: Betas. Make sure it says NONE under selected beta. If you are in beta mode, choose: NONE - opt out of all beta programs. https://forum.sector3studios.com/index.php?threads/openvr-support.7109/
