Any plans to do some bop on the GTO classics? they do need some work, it's like having different classes inside a class, the Nissan is ridiculously fast compared to the other 2, this class needs to be made interesting to drive..
Please don't slow me down anymore, bring the rest up to Toyota pace. Can't remember the difference being so large at other tracks, not just a Most thing?
Naah…they just need more cars in this series. RX7 anyone? Add to that some GTPs and you can multiclass the s**t out of it.
Were these cars subject to BoP in real life? Obviously I can only speak for myself, but I prefer realism to "false fairness", or however you'd describe it. I personally think this whole BoP business can go too far. If the car's performance is on par with what it was capable of in real life, I think it should be left alone. I realise it can mean grids full of the same car in a mixed class, but this is a sim, not an arcade racer. I'd prefer accuracy.
Yes; the GTO sanctioning body (IMSA) was one of the first to introduce an equivalency formula. The rulebook stated that for given engine size or configuration, the car had to run at a certain weight, and they reserved the right to add ballast at any time they felt it was needed.
