....a crowd is slowly gathering in front of the Sector 3 building : MAINTENANCE ! MAINTENANCE ! MAINTENANCE! MAINTENANCE ! MAINTENANCE ! (a.s.o)
Update 16:00 CET : Anthony Monteil has heroically thrown himself into the crowd trying to calm them down with some brandnew sound-samples - unfortunately he was using the word "soon" when answering to the protesters....
Heard that some guys are in Great Britain using Cybertrucks to pull Brands Hatch GP layout right to Lidköping, Sweden. Greetings
Meanwhile in germany... ...a young man (48 actually, but still very good looking) is heading along the A5 on his way back home after work. The sky looks threatening and the rain pours down on his windshield. Traffic is getting denser. But the young man has a smile on his lips because he knows his patience will soon be rewarded. For days, his thoughts have been focused on just one thing: how will this new and shiny GT2 be roaring out of his speakers? What will it feel like on the steering wheel after he has given the Formula Junior a flat spot while trail braking into Aremberg corner ? His smile gets bigger and bigger with every meter he gets closer to his home because he knows his vrp account is already loaded for everything that may come... In a few moments he will be hitting that site-refresh button in the rr-store again and again, hoping to see this magic "under maintenance" notification...
Don't know if there's another one, but I found this: https://forum.sector3studios.com/index.php?threads/end-of-summer-2019-development-notes.13683/
Thank you @BeefMcQueen for the refresher. That was sooo long ago I thought I may have missed something. Damage, flat spot and ever improving AI is plenty to be excited about, and oh yeah new tracks.
I wouldn't expect very much trackwise. If I could bet, I would only set a little amount of money to one (1) new layout.
Lidköping, latest news, 12-11-19: The protests around Sector 3 Studios found a peaceful end yesterday evening , after S3 employee J-F Chardon ordered a truckload of free beer from a local brewery. In the end the protesters were merely drunk and the crowd broke up peacefully ,though a handfull of hardcore fans refused to leave & shot some fireworks & flares at the building but were too drunk to continue eventually. Two protesters were arrested by the swedish police....
Breaking News! Police fraternised with protesters after hearing S3S refuse to go to longly anticipated maintenance. They are on their way back to S3S.
...day two also saw a decrease in numbers and overall average age, it appears some of the older crowd may have over indulged in the complimentary beer and may be nursing a severe hangover not to mention stiff bones and sore muscles from the previous day activities... edit: they are no less enthusiastic and support those anxiously awaiting news from the greatest racing sim known to mankind.
As night does not seem to exist, as does rain, the protesters are staying awake all day long. Thanks to the help of R3E engine noises, they are fully capable of drinking beer and enjoying life. Police Officers won't arrive in the next decades, as they've been called 'As soon as possible' by J-F. Greetings
With the "Soon"-Philosophy J-F ordered the beer for the crown. He forgot that he ordered it in Sweden and real beer instead of "Lätt Øl". Now the Brewery joining the crowd wanting their money. S3S is now forced to release even more content to pay the beer dept.
Meanwhile in Sweden... ... The sun and the clouds are moving Or is that just prerendered teaser stuff on Facebook?!
