Got the above pedals and the break pedal does not respond when I put my foot on it, I have to really press hard for the break to work. Please note I am currently using the T3PA pedals and they acknowledge my response as soon as I press down. Any guidance on this appreciated.
Where on the pedal face are you pressing your foot? The loadcell is mounted in the pedal arm, and it reads the deflection of the pedal arm above the elastomer spring's fulcrum. If you press towards the bottom of the pedal face, you are not flexing the pedal arm enough and not delivering a big signal to the loadcell. If you press at the top of the pedal face, you will get more than what you are asking for. It's a byproduct of how this pedal was designed unfortunately. The loadcell should have been inline with the elastomer spring's fulcrum, and that would have made where one places their foot a non issue. Aim high on the pedal, and the brake should give you better results. Also I believe the CSL-E + LC's design would make the pedal set ideal for an inversion, because; the user would be pressing well above the spring's fulcrum.
How do you know he has the load cell variant? To OP if you have the std CSL without load cell, or even if you have actuslly, have you done the calibration in the fanatec driver panel I had to repeat it several times with mine to record input properly And you need to work your way in RRE in game settings because for whatever reason we cant calibrate wheels and pedals like in other Sims
I have the standard 2 pedal CSL ELITE pedals. I can not calibrate them in the fanatec driver panel, because there is no calibration option.
Did you try turning the potentiometer? It may not be turning high enough. Be careful. Its possible to break it if the potentiometer stops rotating before the pedal travel ends. Think of it as turning the volume up. Sorry for the assumption that you had the load cell.
kill steam use diview to check pedal is operating correctly if it is registering run steam go steam controllers, and uncheck the pedals if steam has them in its power recheck diview run game rebind the pedals, remembering to push them fully down Andi
you don't even have access to Fanatec control panel? don't be confused,I have same pedals but SUB connected as I am using a TM wheel on my rig but yes you should see this in your Windows Start Menu at least
Could be. How does the throttle work? If both pedals are giving you issues, then it may be a windows 11 issue. If it's the brake pedal and only the brake pedal then it's not likely. On the bottom of the pedal. Look for a QA sticker. There are 3 phillips screws holding it in place. Here's an unrelated video as reference... The pot works like a volume knob (with the same issues as a cheap volume knob, meaning it will start to have static after a while).
