Does anyone else think its at a too high value. I'm on a t300 and at default settings and my wheel at 100% its almost to hard to turn the wheel during forces. Turning down my VL to about 100 seems much better. Anyone finding this or am I ruining the detail in RRE ffb? p.s haven't played RRE In a while come back to see the audis... I like but the ffb still seems off in my gt cars especially the macca. I mean I just set it all default (apart turned down some effects engine shift) and refuced VL to 100%. Isnt anything over your just multiplying the effect?! and it felt good even my life long problem the McLaren GT..
Right now the default profiles are a compromise. Trying to compensate the "dead center", due to hardware not being able to output small forces, while not going too crazy on the clipping. As a rule of thumb, you can: 1. reduce vertical and lateral steering forces if turning feels too hard and you feel a lot of clipping. 2. increase vertical and lateral steering forces if the wheel feels too light in the center. But the good news is, that we are currently working on a couple of new FFB Features, which will make this obsolete. The new minimum Force Setting will work as the deadzone removal, by amplifying tiny forces sent to the wheel. Therefore the vertical and lateral steering forces can be reduced to a safe area with no clipping. Another thing we are working on are Slip Effects. This effect is active when tyres loose grip. Be it because of wheelspin or locking brakes. You will feel a subtile vibration, depending on how fast your tyres rotate and how much grip is lost. Its especially usefull to provide information when you understeer. I´ve driven quite a few laps with the new FFB options, and i´m really happy we managed to get them done. I´m sure you will like it a lot
wow, that sounds great the slip effects is something that ive always thought lacked in RRe ffb. Great to hear. I must admit ive been racing the last 2 hours with the McLaren gt at nurburgring sprint (my test track as it were) and lowering the verticle to 100 (lat at default) this feels ssssoooo much better. I can safely say that I have faith in you guys again, (I felt let down before by rre, and a long time simbin lover cough cough) but I will mark my gratitude by buying the audis, you guys deserve recognition. Too long rres been waiting in the shadows, now its time to come and play with the big boys Good job s3 and thank you by keeping to the motorsport soul of sim racing... its never about racing f40s against bloody McLaren road cars lol
just one quick tiny question massively off topic.. WHy does RRe never show FPS (ive used, Riva, and shadowplay) ?
hhmmm ill try again.. its stll not working also can someone just clarify that these cars have the updated physics? GT2 M1 ADAc14 DTM92 Daytona Retro Radical GTRx wtcc
