Same like cars. A lot recycled and some new content, more should come with dlcs. Anyhow, I booked the second part of the journey. Looking forward to it!

I know its a bit ridiculous to complain about a game that has 60 tracks. BUT. The classic American track isn't here. The long, undulating, hilly, curvy, country-side tracks with those wide ambiguous turns. Mid-Ohio, Road Atlanta, Mosport, Lime Rock Park, Barber. None of them are in. :/ These are the classic sports car tracks, not COTA.
True, I would like to see them too, but we can always race them in R3E right ? Btw: Sonoma can be classified as long, undulating, hilly, curvy, country side... At least they have Knockhill
We can race the great Mid-Ohio, Sonoma, and Falkensberg and Knutstorp which I'm gonna try soon Knockhill is similar, yeah. Don't get me wrong, 60 tracks is humongous.
I'm not saying COTA is one of my favorite tracks, but I don't get why so many racing fans hate it. Herr Tilke basically stole iconic corners from European tracks and mashed them up into one challenging circuit. It is still one of the best modern GP tracks in my opinion, especially the first sector. At least PCARS has Daytona, Indy, the Glen, Road America and Long Beach, that's an impressive line-up if you ask me.
I'm really hoping R3E comes up with something big in the next couple of months,, pCARS2 videos are coming from left to right and many people are seeing big improvements on handling and FFB from pCARS1
I'm seriously thinking about pre-ordering it, but I still fear I'll be disappointed, because every insider says "it is better than the first one", but that's not enough for me, the most important question is how is it compared to other sims.
What's the benefit of pre-ordering it? Is it cheaper? It's not like a physical product that will be stuck in the mail when they are backed up. Just wait a few days at least for the initial reviews and subsequent early patches.
Well, actually it is, but that's not the point, you can always ask for a refund on Steam if you don't like it at all, I'm just not convinced by the previews yet that it will truly be a significant step forward.
Thats the way I will handle it - well more or less. Many reviews of PCars1 were very positive and well from there POV maybe it was... I will wait for reactions here or in other Racing-Forums and hope that for example GamerMuscle will make a review or comparison of it...
All these video's are still WIP. Two months to go and I know that there are still many changes in the pipeline (hope they will make in time). In the meanwhile have a look at 'fighting" AI.
