Hi all, I was wondering if there is a way to find out how many opponents can race in a certain track? I mean the tracks I don't own in R3E. I'm thinking of buying some of the smaller swedish tracks (Knutstorp and Falkenberg), but I mostly drive GT3 nowadays, so I would like to drive with 30+ opponents AI races / CC's. So does anyone know the max cars with those tracks (or a way I could find that out myself)? Thx.
Just note that if you have more than 29 or 30 cars, AI will slightly be scaled down in the amount of calculations done per car, so to match with the increased total calculation load for all those many cars. Difficult to say whether or not the resulting net effect in car AI behaviour is a significant degradation or a minor one. I race with 28 AI cars plus my own (=29), just to be safe. Instead of maximising the number of cars to see action wherever you look, it might be better to find an AI setting where you can flow with and right in the middle of the pack, having many cars before and behind you. That way, you are surrounded by action even with fewer cars on track.
