Hi! Does anyone know what happens when you press esc after finishing a race in position and the race end countdown is still running? Do you keep your result or will it be counted as a DNF? I‘d like to know that, esp regarding the ranked servers... I did that twice and both times it looked as if I lost my position... Is it the same for non ranked servers? Thanks and have a nice weekend! @Olli B I'm not positive but I think I read in the Discord channel that if you leave or disconnect before the end timer runs out you do lose the position.

So have some patience and don't leave so quickly. I personally think it's quite disrespectful to leave before everyone else has finished anyway.
Those two races especially were very... well... unpleasant for me, hard enough to race till the end... I was not interested in post race chat arguing, so I wanted to leave asap
Tried to reproduce this and cannot confirm. I left a ranked mp race right after I crossed the S/F line with about 1 minute of session time still on the timer but my ranking and reputation score increased just as they should have. So you don't have to wait for the results screen, your result has been registered and will stand, but I still wouldn't recommend doing it. You never know what might go astray when it comes to network coms. I'd strongly suggest to wait for the server to finish the race properly. If you don't want to wait, go take a leak or grab a beverage, or do both.
Also along these same lines if most have not noticed the servers have track rotation on in the majority of different classes. So staying around till the next event is also a benefit. Not the same GT3-@SPA . They also have different tracks to enjoy.
