Problem Email issue from 2013 conflicting with Steam account

    I apparently made an account all the way back in 2013 with an email.

    Fast forward to today and I wanted to make a purchase on my Steam account, but I need to verify my email. I'm not able to update my Steam account's email because that same email has been taken by the 2013 account.

    (I'm unable to post links)
    2013 Account : ...users/NerdCubbed
    Steam Account : ...users/Derfy

    It also looks like I'm unable to sign in with that 2013 account as I'm forced to login with Steam. Is there a way to merge both accounts or transfer that email to the new account?
