Wheel choice isnt the problem, the game gives you an option to turn off kerb vibration, the switch ingame dosnt work the vibration is always there. Edit your controller profile. Somewhere here \Documents\My Games\SimBin\RaceRoom Racing Experience\UserData\ControlSet Look for this line, im pretty sure this did it for me. change whatever the value is to 0.0 FFB rumble strip magnitude="0.0" // How strong the rumble strip rumble is. Range 0.0 to 1.0, 0.0 disables effect.
"thanks for trying Andi but nothing changed" ..... thats called being polite ........................... thats me walking away Andi
ok one more go if it doesnt work i will continue and repost tomorrow ; Andi make sure game is not running when you move the file
Same result in the "ControlSet" folder 3 files: Deaddy g27.rcs, Logitech G27 Paddle Shift Custom.rcs, Logitech Racing Wheel USB Custom.rcs.old_1. Maybe I send the wrong file? oooops, in the "Controller Profiles" menu selected "Logitech G27 Paddle Shift Custom"
I changed "FFB rumble strip magnitude" in "Logitech G27 Paddle Shift Custom" but it doesn't work anyway
Just to be sure, you do have the correct contoller profile selected ingame, as in you are using\have selected the one you are editing?
had a quick look this morning and checked a few things , this is a very old controller file v1 we are now on v3 ; so maybe thats not helping ; any chance you can create a new one ? easiest way is to remove them all and then fire up the game , rebind everything you want/need and then repost it ...im in and out today but if you repost it ill have it done for this evening Andi
I know it might be frustrating, but if nothing helps you should consider a gamepad....compromise for your family's sake (if there's no other way)
I create new profile and I found it in another folder. "FFB rumble strip magnitude="0.0"" set by default.
