WTCR 2022 Shoot-Out Round 1
Overall note
Especially when driving in a close pack, make sure to brake in time for the corners so you don’t have to hit the car in front.

Incident # 1 - Race 1 - Lap 1 - Corner 1 & 2

A combination of diving in the first corner with a (slight) bump and then not leaving enough room in the next corner ends up disadvantaging multiple drivers.

Incident # 2 - Race 1 - Lap 1 - Chicane

Lucas Werle and Rasmus Salo going side by side into the chicane leaving little room.

Incident # 3 - Race 1 - Lap 5 - Corner 4 & 5

Juan Manuel Gomez needless risky/dangerous driving by weaving/blocking

• J.M. Gomez: 0.5 point

Incident # 4 - Race 1 - Lap 10 - Corner 6

James Montgomery takes revenge on Florian Hasse after being DQ due to incident limits by hitting the brakes unexpectedly, causing a 3 car collision and position loss for Lucas Werle.

• Note: while everybody can understand being frustrated after a DQ, this move was completely unnecessary

Incident # 5 - Race 2 - Lap 1 - Corner 1 & 2

A late brake/reckless dive into T1 causes multiple incident points and loss of position for other drivers.

• Note: be a bit more careful in the first corners

Incident # 6 - Race 2 - Lap 5 - Corner x

Leandro Werle bumps Sebastian Reeh, causing Reeh to go wide and lose 2 positions

Incident # 7 - Race 2 - Lap 6 - Corner 1 & 2

Martin Barna got pushed in the back and continued his race, overtaking Max Pfeifer and forcing him off track.

Martin Barna forced his way inside by pushing and bumping Max Pfeifer multiple times.

WTCR 2022 Shoot-Out Round 2

Incident #1 - Race 1 - Lap 1

Gianpietro Venieri's very careless driving leads to easily avoidable contact with another driver and then a crash with Sebastian Reeh. Reeh lost several positions and had to retire from the race.

Incident #2 - Race 1 - Lap 1

Race incident between Enzo Guibbert and Kirill Antonov

• Reporter: please read instructions more carefully, this report is invalid.

Incident #3 - Race 2 - Lap 6

Luciano Witvoet, while already on the inside line, pushes Bence Bánki wide (unnecessarily). This caused time loss for Bánki who then had to fight with the group behind

WTCR 2022 Shoot-Out Round 3
Incident #1 - Race 2 - Lap 4

Drivers involved: Gašper Mrak, Kirill Antonov, Tim Jarschel, Petr Pliska. For the duration of almost a minute intense battles were happening.
Verdict: Warning for all drivers. There were some unnecessarily risky moves done by all drivers involved, difficult to judge so we're keeping it at a warning.

Incident #2 - Race 2 - Lap 3
Drivers involved: Gašper Mrak, Kirill Antonov. Antanov does a divebomb on Gašper Mrak who loses time (but not a position)
Verdict: Warning for Kirill Antonov

 

WTCR 2023 Round 1
Incident #1 - Race 1 - Lap 2

Drivers involved: Leandro Werle, Lucas Werle, Marvin Mackenberg.
Wreckless diving by the Werle brothers, Mackenberg anticipating as much as he can but loses positions.
Verdict:
Leandro Werle: warning and 1 sec penalty.
Lucas Werle 0.5 strike and 2 seconds penalty

Incident #2 - Race 1 - Lap 3
Drivers involved: Gergo Baldi, Juan Manuel Gomez.
Juan Manuel Gomez moves/changes line before committing to the apex, which looks like semi defensive line or the one to discourage car behind to dive. When it's time to turn, car behind is already alongside and has very little space left by Gomez.
Verdict:
Juan Manuel Gomez: warning

Incident #3 - Race 1 - Lap 3
Drivers involved: Jack Keithley, Bence Bánki
Very aggressive driving by Keithley, intentional heavy contact and pushing opponent to the side. Extremely little space left in corners at 18.10 and 18.20 and contact boosting at 18.30 to get an advantage
Verdict:
Jack Keithley: 1 strike point and 2 seconds penalty

Incident #4 - Race 2 - Lap 1
Drivers involved: Marvin Mackenberg, Kirill Antonov.
Unnecessary divebomb, could have ended worse. Don't take unnecessary risks.

Incident #5 - Race 2 - Lap 2
Drivers involved: Gianpietro Venieri, Marvin Mackenberg
Unsafe rejoin by Venieri, forces passing drivers to evasive manoeuvres and mild time loss for Mackenberg.
Verdict:
Gianpietro Venieri: 1 strike

Incident #6 - Race 2 - Lap 3
Drivers involved: Jack Keithley, Juan Manuel Gomez
Keithley has a bad corner entry and worse corner exit. When Gomez was next to him, Keithley suddenly moves towards the right ramming Gomez, losing a position. This was unnecessarily aggressive.
Verdict:
Jack Keithley: 1 strike and 3 seconds penalty

WTCR 2023 Round 2
Incident #1 - Race 1 - Lap 1
Drivers involved: Jack Keithley, Leandro Werle, Luciano Witvoet, Sebastian Reeh
Keithley, Werle and Witvoet are fighting for position, Werle and Witvoet go side by side and touch slightly. Witvoet turns into the corner early trying to stay on the racing line, but punts Reeh in the process. Reeh has to recover his car and loses 3 positions. Onboard footage shows Witvoet could have done more to avoid this incident.
Verdict:
Luciano Witvoet: 1 strike and 2 seconds penalty

Incident #2 - Race 1 - Lap 1
Drivers involved: James Montgomery, Marvin Mackenberg, Axel Vermeylen, Juan Manuel Gomez, Martin Barna
Montgomery brakes for the final chicane and locks up his fronts, leading to contact with multiple cars. Gomez is pushed out and rejoins in such a way that he blocks the road for oncoming traffic.
Verdict:
James Montgomery: 1.5 strike and 5 seconds penalty (qualification ban for 2 races)
Juan Manuel Gomez: warning for the unsafe rejoin

Incident #3 - Race 1 - Lap 7
Drivers involved: Jack Keithley, Pavel Mukonin
Keithley and Mukonin go side by side, but Mukonin leaves no room for/turns into Keithley.
Verdict:
Pavel Mukonin: warning and 1 second penalty

Incident #4 - Race 1 - Lap 8
Drivers involved: Stef Cremers, Illia Drovossekov
Verdict: Race incident - no proof for intent to contact boosting, door to door action with enough space

Incident #5 - Race 1 - Lap 9
Drivers involved: Illia Drovossekov, Jack Keithley, Pavel Mukonin
Mukonin and Keithley go side by side, but Mukonin does not leave enough space. This resulted in time and position loss for Keithley.
Verdict:
Pavel Mukonin: 1 strike and 3 seconds penalty

Incident #6 - Race 1 - Lap 9
Drivers involved: Illia Drovossekov, Pavel Mukonin, Jack Keithley, Stef Cremers
While Drovossekov and Mukonin are fighting, Drovossekov has to go slightly wide and rejoins where he meets Stef Cremers. Small contact was made, but no harm/everyone could continue. Then Cremers and Drovossekov go side by side, but Cremers doesn't leave enough room and starts steering into Drovossekov, who then gets a contact boost.
Verdict:
Stef Cremers: warning for steering into Drovossekov/not giving enough room

Incident #7 - Race 1 - Lap 9
Drivers involved: Lucas Werle, Sven Mackenberg, Grega Hudjek
Mild contact by Mackenberg into Werle, which led to small time loss for Werle. Werle was able to recover and continue, Mackenberg lost a position.
Verdict:
Sven Mackenberg: 0.5 strike

Incident #8 - Race 2 - Lap 2
Drivers involved: Gergo Baldi, Petr Pliska
Baldi takes a diagonal brake line/moves while braking and hits Pliska, resulting in severe time loss and losing several positions.
Verdict:
Gergo Baldi: 1 strike and 4 seconds penalty

Incident #9 - Race 2 - Lap 3
Drivers involved: Mariusz Zabdyr, Lucas Werle, Gianpietro Venieri
Zabdyr goes for the apex while Werle is on the inside, leaving no space and causes unnecessary incidents for all drivers involved.
Verdict:
Mariusz Zabdyr: 0.5 strike

Incident #10 - Race 2 - Lap 3
Drivers involved: Gergo Baldi, Max Pfeifer, Jack Keithley
While Gergo Baldi was serving a slow down penalty away from the racing line, Pfeifer and Keithley are going side by side. Keithley pushes towards the middle, risking a collision between Baldi and Pfeifer. Keithley had space on the right, but turned into Pfeifer and Baldi in an effort to keep them away. In the following corner, Keithley and Pfeifer are still side by side and they touch. There is not much room, but Pfeifer tries to steer away towards the inside, same goes for Keithley but he could have let more room.
Verdict:
Jack Keithley: 1 strike (qualification ban for 2 races)

Incident #11 - Race 2 - Lap 9
Drivers involved: Bence Banki, Gianmarco Fiduci, Max Pfeifer
Fiduci turns into Pfeifer, leading to time loss and unnecessary incident points
Verdict:
Gianmarco Fiduci: 1 strike and 2 seconds penalty


Incident #12 - Race 2 - Lap 9
Drivers involved: Gianpietro Venieri, Lucas Werle
Venieri takes a diagonal brake line/moving under braking, pushing Werle out of track. Unnecessary risk and incident points.
Verdict:
Gianpietro Venieri: 0.5 strike and 1 second penalty (qualification ban for upcoming race)

Incident #13 - Race 2 - Lap 10
Drivers involved: Gianpietro Venieri, Lucas Werle
Venieri takes a diagonal brake line/moving under braking, pushing Werle out of track. Unnecessary risk and incident points.
Verdict:
Gianpietro Venieri: 0.5 strike and 1 second penalty

Incident #14 - Race 2 - Lap 10
Drivers involved: Gianmarco Fiduci, Max Pfeifer
Fiduci turns for the apex while Pfeifer is already there, but no harm for Pfeifer.
Verdict:
Gianmarco Fiduci: warning

Incident #15 - Race 2 - Lap 10
Drivers involved: Martin Barna, Adam Pinczes
Pinczes goes for the inside, then Barna turns in rather sharp leaving no room for Pinczes. This causes Barna to go wide and get a slowdown penalty.
Verdict:
Race incident - If Barna would've gone around Pinczes instead of turning into him, there would have been no incident and Barna would probably have had enough speed to stay ahead of Pinczes.

 

WTCR 2023 Round 3
Incident #1 - Race 1 - Lap 1
Drivers involved: Martin Barna, Alessandro Ottaviani
Unclear incident report, from replay file there is no bad intention/aggressive move from Ottaviani. Ottaviani dives Barna and has sufficient wheel overlap to contest inside line, but was not given enough space by Barna
Verdict: Race incident

Incident #2 - Race 1 - Lap 5
Drivers involved: Martin Barna, Florian Hasse
Hasse had enough room on the outside, but made contact with Barna which causes a spin Barna losing positions.
Verdict:
Warning for both drivers for not leaving enough space for each other.
Florian Hasse: 0.5 strike and 2 seconds penalty

Incident #3 - Race 1 - Lap 8
Drivers involved: James Montgomery, Leandro Werle, Mariusz Zabdyr, Sebastian Reeh
Zabdyr refuses to back off in the no pass zone from the car next to him. The cars make contact which leads to Montgomery's car being destabilized and less efficient braking. Zabdyr uses the situation to pass Montgomery, the chaos and traffic causes Reeh to slow down and losing time
Verdict:
Mariusz Zabdyr: 2 strikes and 4 seconds penalty

Incident #4 - Race 1 - Lap 8
Drivers involved: Leandro Werle, Mariusz Zabdyr
Zabdyr brakes too late and hits Werle, as Werle goes wide and slows down due to the contact, Zabdyr hits Werle again.
Verdict:
Mariusz Zabdyr: 0.5 strike and 2 seconds penalty (Qualification ban for upcoming race)


Incident #5 - Race 2 - Lap 1
Drivers involved: Lucas Werle, Mariusz Zabdyr, Sebastian Reeh
First lap chaos and traffic causes Zabdyr to pass Werle, after being previously hit by Reeh
Verdict: Race incident


Incident #6 - Race 2 - Lap 11
Drivers involved: Sebastian Reeh, Mariusz Zabdyr
While going side by side, Zabdyr deliberately makes contact with Reeh, not giving him enough space and making a pass by contact boosting
Verdict:
Mariusz Zabdyr: 0.5 strike and 2 seconds penalty


Incident #7 - Race 2 - Lap 11
Drivers involved: Juan Manuel Gomez, Martin Barna
While Barna has the inside, Gomez turns into the apex as if nobody is there. Barna is forced to brake, slow down and upcoming traffic is able to overtake him, losing multiple positions.
Verdict:
Juan Manuel Gomez: 1 strike and 2 seconds

 

WTCR 2023 Round 4
All incidents took place in Race 2, Lap 12 (last lap)

Incident #1 - Martin Barna and Axel Vermeylen
Vermeylen moves to the left, leaving Barna no space and pushed him off track. Barna loses 3 positions. Upon rejoin, Barna moves to the right, leaves no space for Ottaviani and pushed him off track.
Verdict:
Axel Vermeylen: 1 strike and 2 seconds penalty
Martin Barna: 1 strike and 1 second penalty

Incident #2 and 3 - Martin Barna and Petr Pliska
Barna brakes diagonally for the hairpin in an attempt to "defend" (block) Pliska, leaving no room on the inside and makes contact with Pliska. Barna then goes towards the inside, closing into Pliska, leaving little to no space and leads to contact boosting in an attempt to regain the position.
Martin Barna: 1 strike and 2 seconds penalty (qualification ban)

Incident #4 - Sebastian Reeh and Luciano Witvoet
Witvoet starts braking on the right side of the center line, while the cars in front and behind him are already on the left side. Reeh brakes and comes closer to Witvoet, but Witvoet is braking diagonally and pushes Reeh off track. Reeh loses time, seems to have serve a slowdown as a result.
Verdict:
Luciano Witvoet: 0.5 strike and 1 second penalty

 

WTCR 2023 Round 5

Incident #1 - Race 1 - Lap 6 - Florian Hasse and Petr Pliska
During lap 6, Pliska closes in and leaves not enough space for Hasse several times. The last time leading to Hasse's slow down penalty and loss of 3 positions
Verdict:
Petr Pliska: 1 strike and 4 seconds penalty

Incident #2 - Race 1 - Lap 7 - Florian Hasse and Gianmarco Fiduci
During lap 7, Fiduci showed very reckless driving. Hard contact and not leaving enough space before T6 and not leaving enough space in T7. Minor time loss for Hasse and Fiduci, but unnecessary contact, incident points and risk of damage and losing the car.
Verdict:
Gianmarco Fiduci: 2 strikes and 2 seconds penalty

Incident #3 - Race 2 - Lap 1 - Petr Pliska, Florian Hasse and Juan Manuel Gomez
Hasse doesn't leave enough space on T3 for Pliska, Gomez overshoots the corner and leaves room for Hasse and Pliska. Gomez ignores the cars on his inside and goes for the apex, squeezing Hasse and Pliska, which leads to Gomez and Pliska spinning out.
Verdict:
Florian Hasse: 0.5 strike
Juan Manuel Gomez: 2 strikes

Incident #4 - Race 2 - Lap 10 - Florian Hasse and Gianmarco Fiduci
Fiduci takes race line, Hasse behind tries to overtake on the outside line. Bumper touches as Fiduci remains on the line, Hasse loses momentum slightly.
Verdict:
Racing incident

Incident #5 - Race 2 - Lap 11 - Florian Hasse and Gianmarco Fiduci
Fiduci's overtake T1 (cones)
Verdict:
There was no pushing/touching between the cars, no dangerous behavior/moment, the game counted it as valid, therefore we have to rule that the overtake is legal.
