Hi everyone, After RaceRoom show this year the "BOP engine + Weight" has to be configured to nivelate the GT3 Category wha aplied on our dedicated Servers, but i noticed that the engien BOP cant restore from Backup. We have a semi fixed IP (It change something like every 14 days) and every time the IP changes, RaceRoom Dedicated Servers BoP configuration appear EMPTY, and we recover from backup (JSON File). I edit the JSON file and see that the data off ENGINE BoP appear ok, but when we try to restore, is not applied to the cars, and i has to charge it by hand every time. there is some workarround to fix Bop Enginge restoring from backup??? thanks a lot, Lucas Ospital eSportRacing Argentina Infraestructure Manager.
Hello! I have just tried here and it seems to work for me. Can you detail your process? Here's what I did - - Created a server with BoP weight and restrictors - Exported the settings into a json file (attached) - I have checked at that step that the BoP settings are saved in the json, they are present. - Changed a few settings, removed BoP values, saved the settings - Went to Import tool, pointed at the file, clicked import and my BoP was there
@Luii Navas @lospital - If you restart steam and look for a beta branch for the dedicated server called "preview". - right click the dedi in your steam library - select properties - betas - look for the preview beta branch and switch to it Then try again if that works for you now. Should hopefully be fixed for cases where IP switched.
