As much as I love Sector3's content I woukd like to seem them redo Brands completely. Compared to the other sim versions out there (plus living a stines through away) the version on the game isn't great. Maybe with DTM going back this year on the GP circuit, any DTM license ties would help this happen?
https://www.touringcartimes.com/2018/01/14/touringcartimes-top-ten-touring-car-circuits-world/ Good to see R3E features so many of these tracks. Well, apart from one obvious one.
Brands Hatch is also one of the earlier tracks that released in RR, and every other game that features it built it with laser scan data, which helps quite a lot to get the accuracy as close as possible to real life. Perhaps, but RR doesnt hold the DTM license anymore
I believe the problem boils down to this: Brands Hatch GP is one of THE most requested tracks. It's also a track that Raceroom has already sold to most players, essentially half a track at full price. Therefore most players will expect the GP layout to be a free upgrade, hence why Raceroom is unlikely to commit money and resources to something that most people feel they have already paid for. The sales model receives enough criticism. Asking people to pay another 299vRP to complete a track they already feel they own would be a situation RR feel is best avoided.
On the flip side of that, especially given recent complaints about the pricing and how unfair it is for longer term users paying more than new users for new content it would be a decent gesture of goodwill to produce and release it gratis for all (or at least have the cut of date the day after i first purchased ). There you go guys, we do understand your issues with pricing and such, here, have this wonderful track as a freebee, and we hope this goes a little towards showing how grateful we are to have you as customers and really appreciate your business! That must be Knockhill then?
