S3 - Is there any way you could implement a simple Look To Apex function? Tied to the steering input would be fine. Here is the problem for me, others may well have this issue too. I run a single 32" screen, sat around 35" away, so have the FOV in-game at "0.5". In other titles, I use a roughly 30Deg FOV. However, on a single screen, it's near impossible to track or even see apexes. To run a realistic FOV in my case would require either 3 screens (not enough room), TrackIR (don't like the clutter) else VR (expense). All this could be negated by having a look to apex. I accept LTA is not ideal nor a perfect solution, but it works without issue in many other titles and is a very easy compromise for single screen users looking to use a realistic FOV. Please, at least consider it...
Guys, come on @J-F Chardon some response whatsoever would be something at least.... I would understand if it has gone under the radar due to a lot of work anyway...I even would accept a simple soon™ or soonish™...
Thx for look to apex finally, a tiny bit too late cause I've got a Headtracking System already ....but I surely will check it out....VR I'll wait a few more generations of developement until the appropriate cost-benefit ratio is achieved...
use a Tobii 4c. Works great. Its so much better feling and now cant i drive white out Tobii 4C becuse it makes me dissy.
Hey SweSin, long time no see, greetings I use the Delan Clip and can't go back to static cockpit view as well.....VR is the next step obviously...
Must be just me that hates look to apex, have always turned it off in other games, even on a single screen. It messes with my ability to keep the car on line into a corner. Never feels natural, just fake
Yeah, LTA can be a little disorientating, especially if it's turned up too high. I confess that I've cheated though and got an ultra wide screen just recently, which really helps with tight corner apex spotting.
I hope they do what I call real look to apex, so not via the movement of the steering wheel, but via sight as your approaching the corner, so it starts moving your view the closer you get to it, and doesn't move from the center point of the wheel, also it needs to be adjustable for the amount you want.
JF's stream shows LTA on an incremental scale, what values, no idea but it's definitely adjustable. It is 0 < 100 scale
