Thanks, I still have my dfgt for future travel purposes. Way back I added the granturgismo paddle shifters and also stretched the brake spring for more pressure. She definately is/was reliable over the years.
My mistake, when i looked at your pictures it cycled thru 3, the third was Brians above, i just assumed it was yours as it was your pics i was looking at.
the shoes are very comfortable but I hardly wear them, just race with my socks gloves are a definate with this wheel as the suede comes off in your hands and if go to wipe sweat off face I have a suede face
Pretty cool. I've been thinking about a (non electrical) roof for a while now. Since I'm under a 45° ceiling on one side, it's a bit complicated...
Upgrade: - OSW Simucube from SimRacingBay (small Mige / Biss C encoder) - SSRG steering wheel (with Holger Q1R quick release) - HE Ultimate pedals - Alu shifter knob for the HE SQ shifter. And a nice little plate I got from SSRG to accomodate the Neutrik USB chassis mount:
Managed to move from my rickety desk to something more durable. Now I just need to save up the pennies and hopefully upgrade to nicer equipment to bolt to it.
@Turtle Power Awesome rig mate! Could you tell me what I should type into the search box on ebay if I want to have exactly this steering wheel with the BMW and M emblems? Today I looked for the rim from the BMW M3 E30 Evolution II, the Italvolanti Indianapolis, but I have to say yours looks much better. Now I need to have this.

Looks like a sturdy aluminium frame. Only thing I reacted to was the reclined back of the seat maybe it is like that for easy entry/exit of the rig?
