Got the game, DL edition, in the recent Steam sale. Positively surpised, it works very well in VR for me, not the stutterings I had in DR1. Fun to drive, rich in conten, looks good, smooth frames in VR. 12 locations to discover, I like that. MP is not my interest. Only the menu navigation in VR and via wheel button once again is a total mess. They seem to have a crew dedicated only to the task of ruining their menues into a nightmare and messing them up as much as possible. Why not just a simple mouse control...??? They show this dilletantism since years and decades. Nice game, good bang for the buck currently. Terrible menues. I rate it a B or B-, in fact an A- due to the current cheap price.
No, you think wrong. Using G29 - I never use keyboard and mouse. All is great using G29 buttons. Especially in VR when you dont see anything outside. You need setup just "Reset VR" button. Other - perfect "out the box". Hope, Raceroom devs make something like DR 2.0 controls.
Depends what wheel you have. If you don't have a dpad on your wheel or have a custom wheel it's impossible to navigate.
we should ask S3 make possible track fingers and use them directly in VR to select menus and press buttons )))))
So apparently Codemasters acquired the WRC licence from 2023 to 2027 https://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2020-06-01-codemasters-has-secured-the-official-wrc-licence
After a 36h download I got the game last Saturday. Great fun! Especially Scotland on wet mud. Only the wheel (Logitec G920) feels indifferent, like it has no FFB at all. I tried GTR Technical youtube guide settings, but the same. Does anyone have a tip how to make it more lively?
A question about daily community bonus competitions: sometimes not all my owned cars show up to choose. In bonus, can I only choose bonus (=DLC) cars?
