Guys, if you still have this issue, can you try this? https://forum.kw-studios.com/index.php?threads/moza-racing-r9-base.18519/page-2#post-240674 It's an alternative way to set rotation range in the game. It doesn't feel as stiff as the native range stop, but it does the job and at least it's better than nothing. So far works on Moza R9 and Cammus, I'm curious if it will work on G923 too.
i will try to check it if it's work or no. for now they did something in last update, the change make the steering angle adjustment show up but still only behave like converting what in game angle number wheel have to what in 900 degree wheel ( like you set ingame 400 degree but your wheel still do 900 degree. when you turn your wheel 450 degree, the ingame turn 200 degree )
i test what you did: my g923 xml was like this: Code: <key type="uint32">3261989997</key> <!-- Logitech G923 --> <value> <vendorSpecificRangeLock type="bool">true</vendorSpecificRangeLock> <minWheelRange type="uint32">40</minWheelRange> <maxWheelRange type="uint32">900</maxWheelRange> <alwaysCreateEffects type="bool">false</alwaysCreateEffects> <supportsSpringEffect type="bool">true</supportsSpringEffect> <supportsDamperEffect type="bool">true</supportsDamperEffect> </value> when i change "vendorSpecificRangeLock" to false, it only make the ingame steering angle adjustment disable again changing the rcs file to 1 also do nothing.
Found this thread again and noticed this: You need to do both, did you do that? Although even if it works, you will likely need to deal with another bug, default steering lock on all cars will be 13 degrees instead of what they actually have.
Hi Same, just see notification from this topic. Hard to access forum for me sadly. I forget how I did that. I will do that again and will report back.
