not very inviting to female players by using stereotypes like that on the main account by @Sector3 (care less about the forum, but official account is a statement about how you see your players...)
I see your point, but I saw it more as a clever joke. And I think the sim racing women of our community can take it, they after all moves in a stereotype environment. Hell, I think we all would like that Spa after a hard night on Spa.
Totally agree. There is no point in perpetuating stereotypes, it would be just as funny if it was "Spa for them / Spa for us". I know many a man whose primary Spa is not Francorchamps. Plus, in motorsport, we are truly fortunate to have non gendered competition, there are great women drivers at the highest level -- Susie Wolff for example, or the late Maria de Villota, just to name two. That being said, yeah, Spa is looking freaking amazing! When I saw that yesterday I was kind of hopping it meant we would be getting it soon(ish?), but I won't be getting my hopes up until I see a preview post from the devs
I asked my wife if she thought it was "sexist" or "inappropriate" and when she finally stopped laughing, she said no. Her words "that's cute". She then suggested that I can drive around Spa only if I give her a spa day. Now Im offended, Spa days are much more expensive than buying a track from S3S. THANKS S3S I HATE YOU
Truth hurts, but you can't be scared of it.. I believe i can count the women in Raceroom on my one hand, so it isn't a stereotype.. Lol
I guess they make us believe there is one.. She isn't rather a good reference.. Don't even mention the name..
Ah, now I get it...the infamous one. Yeah, no, don't believe that is a woman, probably some mp-bot, coded by Ian Bell to make people buy (and take) his crap.
I say whoever was the La Source of that comment got it wrong - I wants both. Nothing like a good spa day after lots of high heel and toe at Spa! B
would be great but i'm not sure - this Weekend is 24h-Race at spa... would have been a good weekend, too... It's holiday-Season in Sweden now - I wouldn't expect too much till September...
