Full Screen, DirectX rendered In-Game widgets are now possible with Proracing

 

All widgets now in directx, nothing changed just drx?

No, not all widgets in directX mate. It will be hard to replicate the web widgets with directX. I will do some selected ones which the users will ask for. They will be simpler in design as I have to render the data on the game.

So, you can start here by letting me know which ingame widgets you would like me to make.

Do you have a solution for the non updated widget after edit?

 

Something similar is quite possible. But isn't this too big to have it in-game?

Regarding the issue, are you saying that you are editing a widget, its saved but not updated? I'd like more info of the problem pls.

 

This widget is on my a pillar, dont bother me. But its just a example, was just a question whats a go and what Not.

Im at work, so i try to describe it.

I go to my custom widgets, click "edit", widget open, edit what i want, click "save", refresh my Page (f5), open custom widgets again but nothing have changed.

 

Hmm, strange as that works for me. When you get home send me your database.db file so I test with it

Its possible to include a small easy widget like the ptracker in ac?



And this one in directx?

Because i want to disable all r3e Infos and just use your stuff (drag an drop who i want).

And I can't find the delta times (not front and behind) in the custom section.

 

Hi Tarik,

This is very possible. But note that these new widgets I'll be doing are not drag and drop like AC as they are drawn dynamically on the game. I have to think about a way how the user can position them himself.

The delta times in R3E are still buggy as far as I know in the shared api

 

Hi, when i creat a custom widget, add an element, i can't resize it any more. The blue S isn't shown any more.
I like the grid, could you make it snap to it and maybe resize it?

The blue S is shown when you click on the element. Maybe you did not click on it?

The grid is really an image. Since its a web page unfortunately snapping is not really possible.

 

Yes, i click on it but nothing happens. When i add a text it works, but not with elements form the list. The outer widget border also works.

 

Cant replicate the problem. Can you clear the browser cache? I tested with chrome. Which browser ur using?

 

I use chrome too, cleared the cashe, nothing happend. I tried out edge, it works there, don*t know why ....

 

Chrome is very stubborn with caching files :-(

Best way to do it is press F12, then click and hold the refresh button and choose clear cache.
