Hi fellow racers. I have noticed several cases in DTM 2014 Experience when the pit limiter randomly switches on in the middle of the track. I'm just wondering whether this is intentional. In a 30+ laps race, this happened twice. Any ideas?
if its not a slow down penalty , try rebinding the pit limiter button to another place just in case its a faulty/sticky button you could also check the buttons to see if they are cutting in on there own by googling Diview and downloading it Andi
I'm afraid so, that T1 on Hockenheim just kills me. But isn't it still strange to shut down the car without any kind of warning? It really disorientates the driver. Sounds reasonable though, as far as I remember, the incident always happens in one of the final turns.
Well, I remember no such message, but then, I was (as always) in the middle a chase, so I could've easily missed it. I will check this next time, although hopefully I will manage to start obeying track limits, my statistics is disastrous in this regards .
Maybe you have this kind of messages turned off as I have too. If I remember well, the kind of penalties are 3, one is 'slow down, it depends how the race is set
That's possible, although I think I chose "drivethrough penalties". Thank for your replies, now I have a lot of options to explore Great community here, says the newbie.
It has happened to me at in a 1992 M3. Same track but only once.I have had strange happenings with the gears randomly jumping straight into reverse for no reason.
I get a drive through penalty, drive into the pit, where the AI parks me, THEN I'm stuck there with a timer that me how long I'm being stupid. The car won't move...where are the instructions (maybe this game needs a trainer that you can drive through, Like the old Torque/heat did) for this? I can't find ANY instruction or beginner's guides
Thanks...I need to learn that pit box. I hope I got it set up to show it. Thanks for helping out. I also need to go through all the Raceroom videos on You Tube...thanks for bringing that to me.
