Dev Stream this friday at 8pm CET?

 

Where does that little gem come from?

 

Don't know what a gem is but at the end of the broadcasting (minute 35:44) I understood to tune in on friday for the dev stream together with Bruno Spengler. Maybe I misunderstood it but I was curious if I missed this info as I couldn't find anything about a dev stream here.

can someone explain me why this isnt a invalid lap? All of the fastest driver are driving the same line....
I have watched a couple of DTM onboard videos but no one is driving outside the track. Maybe s3 need to improve the cutline here.

that turn in hockenheim was always object of discussions in real racing series, too. I think in DTM it is now clearified in the driver-briefing that it is not allowed to leave the track there. In other years there where sections with red painted tarmac which allows to leave the track but not allow to hit the red painted tarmac.

In R3E that turn includes the green astroturf as part of the track. And as always - it is allowed to leave the track with 2 wheels but not with all.

 

when ur right then all laptimes are under investigation and need a reset. because all of them outside the track with 4 wheels.

Personally,I use the limits of track of the game(4 wheels outside).If the game allows it,I make it.....Anyway,everybody does the same thing.On some circuits,we can put two tires before having a penalty.

 

Today i have ask the Official DTM Site and they said:

Both Tyres outside the track, the driver became a penalty. The Qualifying lap would be deleted. Now they put green carpets on the track, this carpets slow down the cars and the driver don`t use them because of that fact.


i have no slow down effect on the green carpets, maybe s3 need to add a effect like that?

 

Yeah its something like the gravel traps. They stay for giving someone who gets in a speed disadvantage. So everyone know to avoid these gravel traps. And if they say that in real racing those carpets giving a disadvantage it make sense to implement something like that into a simulation like gravel traps.

In my opionion the gravel traps have 2 tasks. First to giving a disadvantage if someone goes over the track limits and so slow down a car to avoid crashing inside a wall. Then u got the carpets which only giving a disadvantage if someone tries to go over the track limits. if i'm wrong then please feel free to correct me but my opionion make sense for myself.

 

Guys you can already use Dtm 2015 Cars in the Leaderboard Challenge in Singleplayer! I want to train a bit for the online race today and then i just saw that

All drivers which participate in the multiplayer race are able to drive the DTM ´15 cars. You never noticed that?
