With a flat rim you need a spacer between the rim and the hub to get the proper distance from the rim to the paddles.

With a slightly dished rim the distance is spot on. As we say here: You cannot have it in both a bag and a rucksack at the same time.

If they sat further away, they would have a poor fit for dished rims.

A video where I show my P1-X racing rig with two sinustec bass shakers and DIY wind simulation while driving on the Nordschleife in a Porsche 962C, discussing my experiences with heel&toe technique (german).

Hi all, I don't post often, but thought I'd share my rig for posterity.
Like all of you, I'm a motor-sport fan first and foremost, especially WTCR & BTTC, therefore Raceroom is my go to sim, as it fills my petrol head needs perfectly :sunglasses:. I do play most of the other racing sims, but always end up back in Raceroom, where most of my time is 'wasted'.
Cost justification and space (including storage) are my challenges, hence the Playseat has done the job, for the last 5 years... although I have been eyeing up the RR3055 as an upgrade, but still working on convincing wifey ;):smilingimp:

Glad to see someting that goes with the title of this thread. A real world show your cockpit.
Was getting tired of the highend ads of shifters etc by the same people over and over again.
    Thanks for sharing.

\Finally upgraded from the old Playseat after 5 years. Just need a monitor stand now and to find out where Samsung sells the VESA Adapters for the CHG90. Mine didn't come with one in the box when I got it in December

That will come, but actually haven't had time to try it yet, vacation ended on the same day.. .

Problem is it was such a long time since I used the CSW 2.5, will compare it to the DD1 though.
But from what I remember, going to the DD1 from the CSW 2.5 wasn't a big step, mostly just the extra force.

Having only ever had a wheel stand and folding chair for a cockpit with a mount G920, I took a huge dive into the deep end. Within a month I purchased a T300RS wheel, T-LCM pedals, TH8A shifter and a Next Level Racing GT Track cockpit. What a HUGE difference in immersion this provides. I lowered my 32" curved monitor and moved it closer. I also now no longer show on screen wheel. I feel like I am racing now, not just playing a game. I even wear the seatbelts for the fun of it.

The tuning button not working on the old XBox Universal Hub has been reported already on the official forums. It's not yet fixed though in the latest driver 411. One user a few posts down says that he could work around the issue by switching to XBox-mode and back to PC mode. Another one said this didn't work for him, but it's surely worth a shot as you can test it within a few seconds:

    https://forum.fanatec.com/discussion/23717/fanatec-driver-411-for-csl-csw-and-podium-wb-all-wheels

For the meantime, the issue has been acknowledged by Marcel Pfister and he wrote a few more posts down that a possible fix is in testing right now.
