Yey, Daytona, now I can stop trying to talk myself into caring about Dubai, real racing season has begun.

 

I was like "what day is it today!?", "how did I miss the 24h Daytona!?" and then I realized you meant half an hour to go before the race STARTS. First week unemployed and it's starting to show

 

I am thrilled to see more manufacturers at the Rolex 24. Loving watching the new Porsche, Acura, Cadillac, and Lexus running.

 

Cadillac doing really well too.

Now I'm bound to eat these words, but where them Porsches at? Behind Fords and Ferraris and Vette's where they belong that's where... *please don't let the standings change in any way, I mean it's only 23 hours to go right... What could go wrong*

I'm just hoping the Ford can keep Porsche, Ferrari, and Chevrolet behind for the next 22 hours.

 

How could you tell! Actually I like'em and I glad they're back fighting for something other then AM trophies in GT racing, but I like'em best when they're not winning.

 

I'm guessing it'll come down to how well they handle the night/rain coming up. Still that Chip Ganassi Ford goes fast, it's theirs to win or loose at the moment.

All of the cars just look so cool......question, in the Porcha 912, the in car camera shows a screen in the middle of the dash. On that screen it looks like it showing the other cars around including arrows pointing to location, how cool is that?! Anyone notice or know anything about that system?

That is awesome. Thank you! How come I didn't already know about this I wonder? I've been casually following IMSA for a few years and today's D24 is the first time I've noticed it.....what else haven't I noticed...? ;-)
