Question Mandatory pit stop question.

I think i just did a stupid.

I pitted in the window and filled up some fuel but didnt change tires. next lap the "pit window closes in 3mins" came up but was red text and crew-chief tells me "box this lap" - so i assumed i needed to pit and change tires or i would be DQ?

Do i have to change tire on a mandatory stop? is the text always red when the 3min warning shows?

I cant believe it pit twice and now i feel like i didnt have too. im so dumb

 

Where it says "You must pit soon"
does that mean i have not pit yet? because i already did...
im confused

Mandatory pitstop require a change of at least two tyres. The pit windows message will continue to appear as normal just to keep you informed.

 

Yes but im almost certain that the "you must pit soon" in red is not there and the text "3 mins left" or whatever is just normal white colour not red if you have pit correctly already. can anyone confirm?

 

Yes correct. I do not get the "you must pit soon" in red once I have completed pit requirement.
