503 is an http-error code. Meaning: the server in general is reachable but the service hosted on the server is currently unaviable. Looks like nothing wrong on your side.
If this is really a HTTP 503 error (which means "Service Unavailable") then this should affect everyone (all the time or randomly). But it doesn't, haven't seen any complaints about that. The only way I can make sense of this, is something's wrong with your game or its settings and it's trying to connect to a wrong server...
Hi I posted this in the general forum but noted it may be beter hear. Since Tuesday RaceRoom will no longer start. When selected I get to the advertising screen with the dots moving across the base of the screen then after about 5 minutes I get a message saying Error 503 Backend service unavailable Check back later However I have been trying for the last 2 days! Once or twice I got into the game, selected single player then I get the loading screen with the dots moving across the base of the screen but no further. Please note my internet is working fine for all other games, ACC, MSFS, 2020 etc but race room is a no go for me since Tuesday night NZ time. Thanks in advance if you can help. Best wishes Bob Please note I have been using RaceRoom for 2 years with no issues. Nothing has changed on my PC However for over 2 days Race room will not start
since last update a month ago, I couldnt access the game. Not working... installed again, shutdown firewal and AV, eliminate files, re intall full steam... etc. Not working. Do you know what else can I try?
I tried with Hotspot Shield but I get same error and as I posted on Steam R3E Community there is also post from one user that after last update he has same problem.
