    Hi all,

I have a problem where it seems like I keep losing tracking for a split second when I move my head. This is while driving and also in the menu's and even when the first screen appears when starting the game. Strange thing is, in the same room, same hardware and running RF2, no issues at all.

    I'm using a Quest 2, 5600x rtx3070 - other than the micro stutters \ headset re-alignment - the game runs smoothly.

    Anyone else have this issue?

I've tried changing in game graphics settings (lower), updated quest 2 headset to latest software + nvidia latest software.

It can be so many factors in VR

Let’s start with the obvious culprit

you are using Link or Airlink?

    Thanks for the reply.

Using Link and currently running it in SteamVR (which I'm not a fan of) but it works fine with RF2.

ok at least we can eliminate wifi router and network issues

so what I can suggest and I know its tedious but do this one by one

    1. disable any monitoring tool like HW64, RTTS,Fancontrol,MSI AB etc etc
    2. check the toggle in Windows about HAGS and change this
    3. i assume you start the Game as SteamVR 64bit, try the 32bit launch Option
    4. in NVIDIA CP, put GPU at Max power settings, remove Vsync and any latency related set to OFF

been an opencompsoite and related openxr toolkit user for quite some time

my experience, but YMMV, is that tweaking in there never fixed a stutter issue similar to what you are telling here

one important thing though regarding performances(fps/frametimes), what are you pulling from your hardware?its decent but GPU is not great for VR so if you aim 90fps at max rendered resolution in Meta app then that might be the issue indeed.
do you sue the steamvr perf monitor or ODT one?
I recommend the ODT one as it gives you more clues where is the bottleneck. openxr toolkit is very good too with their monitoring tool especially the advanced one
