OK, might be related to my machine/OS. In order for me to further investigate, can you perhaps tel me what Windows dll or similar is used by the software? What version of JAVA because I see there is a json file in between. If I do figure out what was causing the issue I will advise.
OK, I got it working again. There was some updates from MS last night for Win 8.1 which I have installed. I then deleted this folder C:\Program Files (x86)\ProRacingDashboard as well as this folder: C:\ProgramData\{7EF0CA16-FEBD-4D49-85DC-ECC37E02F153} Restart machine, download the install files again and re-install. I also made sure both folders are excluded in the Antivirus Real Time scan under exclusions as well. Not sure which part fixed it, but it is working.
Hi Stefan, my buddy have a bug with the widget size. He use triple screen and he cant adjust the widget size.
Hi Tarik, Not sure I understood the issue. Is the zoom not working for him when he clicks -+ or when the widget is displayed it does not zoom?
When im going into the custom.widget section, there i can zoom in or out the widget like my picture but he cant zoom because the option is disabled.
Hi Stefan. So I created one dashoard and it works great, however. I don't seem to be able to create or save new/edit a dashboard. If I create a new dash, it doesn't show up in the list of available dashboards etc. My goal here is to create 2 dasboards. 1 for the iPad, which will display all the race and car information. the 2nd would be for the rpm, speed, gears etc on my iPhone (Which is mounted on the steering wheel). Like I said, I am having problem creating new dashboards (after the initial one) or even editing and saving the 1 that I do have. any suggestions?
Also with a touch pad, you cannot really create your own dashboard (well I don't seem to be able to do so) cause one cannot move the dahs widgets around with ones finger. So we should just create the dashboards on a PC/laptop. I would really like to hear your thoughts regarding my above post. But anycase. Thank you for the excellent work man. this is a really cool app
Hi Gerhard, Which browser and OS are you using? I'll try to replicate your problem as it works fine on my pc. As for creating dash from Ipad, for now, dash creation only works well with pc, maybe in the near future I'll see what i can do. Cheers Stefan
Hi @Stefan Mizzi I've tested the last update with the refresh rate settings. Seems to work ok with 1000ms refresh rate! But I had a strange issue. I fired up a training SP session with 49 IA. The timing board only showed me half of the opponents. And it wasn't something like 1 to 20 ok and 21 to 49 missing. It was random, I had 1 to 8, 9 missing, 10 ok, 11 missing, 12 to 15 ok, 16 to 20 missing, etc. Never had this before...
Dude, I have not released the 1000ms refresh rate update yet so not sure how you saw a difference! As for missing drivers....did you have duplicate AI names...as if so, they are filtered out from the Sector 3 API as there is no unique driver ID...
Lol....it happened again and this time I have found the reason by accident. When starting Gigabyte OC Guru II and then your ProRacing Dashboard, ProRacing Dashboard crash. Stop Gigabyte OC Guru II and ProRacing Dashboard works perfectly. Not sure why though. http://www.gigabyte.com/support-downloads/utility.aspx?cg=3 For now only one of the two can run.
oh, my bad, it was the telemetry file generator settings, I thought it was it Indeed, no difference when playing online with 30 opponents For the missing IA: it might well be duplicated entry yes. I didn't checked
