Ok guys I think I'm gonna create the teams within today/tomorrow. Sorry I can't participate to this cup but I'm moving on the 1st so I'll be offline for a while. I'll make everything to record the events tho and provide support with the Reverse Grid. I don't know if @chrisnj will be handling the announcements as he did in the previous champ. If not the case, that part will be covered by either @MeMotS or @Mike Davies who decided to help ESR rolling (thanks!!). Remember guys (especially to the new entries) to read the rules and regulations before the cup starts With that said, thanks everyone for participating to this short cup. Hope you'll enjoy! Cheers!
Guys I think we'll have to deviate slightly from the original plan and team assignment will then be purely random. So, yeah no rookie & pro teams for this cup
Servers disappeared thanks to the great tool that is Dedicated server for raceroom .. I have created a new one for practice with 60 minutes practice session. server name Esr F4 Cup practice.
Ok boys the race is tonight ( in case some of you forgot ) The idea behind this small cup was to try a bunch of track we wouldn't usually race on and see how it goes. The cup is meant to be chill and relax but here a few important reminder to make sure we all have fun. Join the ESR group chat at least 15 minutes before the race start. Everyone should be joining Teamspeak (24.36.5.112 : password is the same if you dont have it we will provide on steam chat) as it definitely helps during the reverse grid formation lap. On the subject of formation lap we are doing it on the fly so pay attention to who is supposed to be in front of you and behind, check the chat in game and pay attention to Teamspeak. Formation lap once more : Overtakes are allowed when (and only when) the leader has crossed the start/finish line (pop up on the hud). Good ol' Gentleman Rule IS REVOKED: you crash someone, you DON'T STOP but try to get back on track as quickly and safely as possible. If you did not participate or did not finish race 1, and are joining race 2 stay in the pit during qualification, once the race start whatever position the game has given you if your starting position. Also watch out for pit entry, the penalty is a drive through and that is a race killer. Any ESR member wishing to join tonight we can add them to the wild card slot.
