OK, not abysmal, but pretty much unplayable. Tested at Spa, in BMW M6 GT3, BOTH grid of 23 AI GT3 cars AND also alone, and have been getting these results: 1280x720 - Everything on OFF or LOW: ~35-50 fps 1920x1080 - Everything on OFF or Low: ~35-50 fps 1920x1080 - Everything on Highest setting: ~35-50 fps 2560x1440 - Everything on OFF or Low: ~35-50 fps 2560x1440 - Everything on Highest setting: ~30-50 fps 3840x2160 - Everything on Highest setting: ~25-48 fps My PC specs are: i7 4770K@3.9GHz, 16GB DDR3, AMD RX 5700 XT. I'm pretty sure I should hit 60fps @1440 with a bit of tweaking on the settings. I have no problem with any other sim I play, AMS2, AC, ACC, DiRT 2.0, ETS, ATS, all get 60 fps and above, @1440, no problems at all. Checked that windows use the correct GPU. They do. Put an exception on the anti-virus software. Didn't change anything. Set the GPU and CPU OC clocks on defaults. No change. The last thing I need to test and didn't have the time to, was to disable the HUD, if it is even possible. I'm out of ideas, so any help would be appreciated. Thank you.
something is not right 4790k plus gtx970 all at full less shadows in media and mirrors. and it doesn't go below 60fps like a rock, limited since my tv doesn't offer more resolution 2560x1440
Very odd. I'm on a lowly 1050ti and get solid 60fps with mostly highest settings. All I can suggest is delete the graphics XML file that's in the raceroom folder in documents, the game will create a new one, may fix the problem.
OK, I disabled the HUD and didn't help. I deleted the graphics XML as well and again it didn't change anything. The framerate remains abysmal. Also, there is a graphical bug (it was there before deleting the graphics XML): These two are with the default graphic options and these two are with motion blur disabled: Is there anyone from the team here who may be able to help please?
I don't have afterburner and riva installed at all. All my testing is done with Vsync OFF. Forgot about the DoF. Disabling will probably fix the image. (Although I shouldn't have to disable an effect, the graphics team should try to find what is the bug with some setups and fix it.)
Select any graphical preset, then choose Custom, disable motion blur and depth of field and you're done. Yes. In just one game. Doesn't matter. I quit trying to run their game. I have about 4 hours per week to play and I'd rather play, not trying to figure out where the developers fucked up. If someone from the devs has something to say to help, fine. Otherwise I'm gonna try again after I see an update on the game engine. Too bad because I was willing to buy more of their content.
