I don't know if I'm improving or what but I've come to the point where racing the NSU with the AI at 120% is not challenging and they stay behind so the question is: If I use adaptive AI, will it go over that 120% level or is that the most they can do?
No they won't. Adaptive only means one of the existing ai levels is dynamically picked depending on the lap time you do during the event
Probably not, no. One of the beta-testers suggested it might be able to go above 120 on adaptive, but personally I doubt it. On the other hand, feel free to try it and report back.
Guess that was me. I thought it might not cap out, but tbh I didn't analyze the file and what it's doing in such depth as you did and I come to the same conclusion as you now. I still think it might be possible to make it so that it could go over 120, but atm I agree in thinking it doesn't.
Might be possible to hack the XML and insert the appropiate values. Not sure it'll accept anything over 120, plus you have to have a fair idea of the lap-time as well. I'll try it out when I get back from work.
Nope, you can't. You can edit the XML and it'll accept the entry, but the next entry written will be 120. So it is seemingly capped at 120.
Sorry. But then again...... "My AI isn't fast enough"....Now there's the definition of a first-world problem.
