Hello, my dear, Sector3! I have just noticed that Rev Line in new M6 GT3 car doesn't go for the end. When I am hitting the limiter I can clearly see that there are two more sections empty in LCD screen, but in the same time General HUD showing correct information and by the sound it's clearly touching it's limits. So I wonder, is it a known issue? Best regards, Yevgeny.
I think its correct. How you can see in this onboard video the rev line in the M6 GT3 never go until the end. So for me it isn't a issue.
I think you are correct. The rev band of these Cosworth ICD displays always has a range from 0 - 10.000 rpm. Most regular cars using it won't be able to reach that so the red line sits further up front on the virtual band.
Have to say i noticed this as well past weeks. Only recently made a video with the Arta and in the video the revline goes to the end and then blinks. Now it misses the final two revsections as Yevgeny mentioned.
I believe this may have been changed recently due to what Christian showed above. The real Cosworth ICD display does show an rpm range that is greater than what some of the cars use that have this display equipped. I know this was discussed internally and was in our bug tracker... So perhaps this was a silent update if it wasnt mentioned in the changelog. I agree the rev band looks a bit weird only taking up a portion of the display, but this is how the real thing is apparently.
