hello, i bought the honda accord supertouring just yesterday and it's very nice, but on tight turns it looses so much speed the rest of the pack easily goes away with no way for me to catch them

and the more i turn the more it loses speed despite me being at full throttle

it's like i brake > i make the turn > i accelerate while exiting the turn but car has so low power it keeps losing speed despite me being full speed

it happens also to the volvo 850, the alfa romeo giulietta, and the volvo s40, althought with the s40 with way less extent

is this how it's supposed to be or i am missing something?it's a shame as i love the accord but it's undrivable this way...

generally i do only have factory settings, in some cars some traction control set to low

sometimes i do have the oversteering assist turned on but can't remember if it's on right now

These are all FWD cars. You can't accelerate and turn at the same time with these cars. Basically, you need to finish the turn and straighten your steering wheel, and then you can start accelerating again.

Get the assists off as much as you can handle too.

Yes, it's the assists. I remember a similar complaint a few years ago about WTCR22 and i reproduced it by activating a certain assist setting (i believe it is countersteer assist, not sure). Can't find my report anymore to give more info.

EDIT: found the report. Using stability control forces the car under heavy turning radius to stay on the same speed or even loose speed. But i could only reproduce that for low speeds (up to ~ 40 km/h).
