Hey, I drove the newer DTM 1992 and the updated GTR2 cars alot in the past weeks and coming back to the ADAC 2013 SLS, it felt a bit strange and understeery. So I tried the ADAC 2014 SLS (which I haven't done before), after all they are handled as two separate cars in the shop. It felt very different, far more front grip at corner entrances and stuff. Im by no means a simracing expert, is this just my imagination or do they really drive differently? And if they do, is this intentional? Does it simulate the specific modifications made in the 2013 and 2014 cars or is it just "uups forgot to update the physics"?
The 2 packs just have different physics.ADAC 2014 is up to date but the 2013 pack and the gtr3 class should be updated. I think Sector3 confirmed that allready.
I hope I don't have to disappoint someone now... At the Moment GTR2 doesn't have the updated physics... it will come "soon" - probably with the next update. ADAC 2013 and 2014 have both the updated Physics, but different Settings in the cars. ADAC 2013 for e.g. doesn't have ABS and in ADAC 2014 ABS is permanently on.
Also in real life 2013 and 2014 is different on suspension side, so imo it is normal (also 2013 without ABS i think and 2014 with ABS)
Yes, from my experience you are right, the 2013 SLS is with the basic setup much more understeery then the 2014 version.
Nice to see that I am not hallucinating. But some more clarification whats different, or at least some sort of ingame note, so you can see they are different, would be good to prevent confusion (i.e. Why do I have to pay 3 times for the same car?). Huh, I assumed they would have updated physics because GTR2 races were well-frequented in the past days from my experience.
if you own a model, then you pay only the skin https://forum.sector3studios.com/in...ence-faq-and-game-features-w-i-p.72/#post-218 anyway they are different in physic , I tried the z4 and in the ADAC 2014 has ABS, in ADAC 2013 not, and the GT3 one, has less grip
