Hello, quick question. If you get a drive through penalty but ignore that and finish the race, why are you still classified in your finishing position and not in your final position (counting in the penalty time)? When you're hit with something like a 1 min 30 sec penalty at the finish and your total race time including the penalty should put you down a few places you're still classified in your finishing position in the results.
Nice. I had planned to adress this topic myself today. Afair this had worked fine in the past, but isnt working anymore since the last major update. Even the JSON-File of the server only shows an outstanding penalty, the penalty time gets ignored. Please fix.
Yes, it is. And btw, dont you think the time penalty of 90 seconds (!) at the Hockenheimring is a lill bit harsh? You lose 15s max if you succesfully complete the drive through penalty. In 90s you can do nearly a complete lap.... DTM of course.
Makes sense that a penalty for failing to serve your penalty is much more harsh than the first one you get, yeah?
The old design states it should be 45 seconds and there are no mentions of doubling that. Will dig into that and the bug today, most likely.
Thanks Kitsume. Attached two screenshots, second one is taken from that that video, which is from a race we had last friday. Player A.Kh had an outstanding penalty, as you can see within the JSON, but he didnt complete the DTP. He tried to do this within the final lap, crossed the finish line within the pit, but this didnt work out. So he was penalized with 90s, but those seconds were not added to his race time. We rechecked the situation and he should have been listed as last position, due to this penalty.
