when i asked why was this sacked a dev said it was overlaping with slide effect.Is there a way to bring it back?
Yeah, slip effects have some of the same sensation as the old brake effects did, which is why brake effects got canned. Devs figured it would be redundant I suppose. Doubt we will see it come back again for this very reason. Never personally used the brake effects myself, but you may just try using the slip effects and tweaking it to see if you can find a decent setting.
