    Hi Folks

have not driven RaceRoom for a while. Got back into it an really enjoying the big differences.
But having a problem with my Fanatec ClubSport wheel. After driving for about 15 or 20 minutes (on several occasions) the FFB goes dead or simply disappears and wheel goes limp. Can still steer but the FFB has vanished. Does not happen on other sims that I have tried.
First time I have had this issue.
Any ideas how to resolve this?

    Cheers
    PV

How long is a while? You may need to re-create you controller profile. There have been some large updates over the last few months and the Fanatec SDK has also been updated which might have an effect on an older profile.

    Since April last year.
Have updated everything I know of including Fanatec drivers and of course steam updates RRE
    Tried a totally new profile
Using DTM 2016 did a 20 minute race, around 15th minute wheel goes loose, still driveable (just) but FFB is gone and wheel is very loose when it goes

Have read something similar in a thread somewhere here. Reason were some burned brushless motors.
Maybe you'd make a ticket at Fanatec support.

I use Fanatec CSW v2 and I've just been on it for about 2hours solid.

You're maybe over clipping your wheel and it cutting off ,try these settings they're really good http://www.racedepartment.com/threads/rre-ffb-setup.130117/
On the wheel though put it to 100 on the ffb setting or the ffb is cut
I've been using them myself and there's only minimal clipping

If it still does it contact Fanatec

    Okay this is resolved.
Found that the FFB switching to 'dead' only occurred when using RRE.
So felt it was not a wheel issue.
So did the simplest thing: simply changed USB ports in which the wheel was connected and this sorted it out.
    No dying wheel in RRE.

Yeah always use a USB 2 port for Fanatec kit USB3 data rate is too fast.
    Glad you resolved it though.
