I think I've read that this is a known issue so I'll just add some evidence. I have been racing the FR90s at Suzuka but gave up for three reasons (1) lap 1 turn 1 pile up every race (2) at least one AI spins off at Degner 2 on roughly 8 laps out of 10 (3) AI pits on final lap when simply staying on track would be enough to win the race (pit stops turned off). I just switched to Silverstone hoping for a better time but pic below shows its even worse here. Lap 1, turn 1 - I count 21 AI cars in this picture and not a single one of them is on the racing line or even facing the right direction. They all spun off independently... Anyway - adding this for the record... Oh... and there were 7 more out of shot as well (beside and behind me), all having spun:
