I heard through the rumor mill that it is possible to create multiple new race room accounts in order to get the free vrp. Then use it to buy cars when you want one instead of buying them. Im wondering if there is anything officially prohibiting this or not?
There used to be 500 vrp welcome codes and you can still get them as competition prizes (if competition prizes are still being given out as no results have been posted for months). You could use them to buy cars or tracks but it was limited to one per account so you wouldn´t be able to use them all together and at best maybe buy 1 car and 1 track in a sale. As you can now test any car on any free track, it seems pointless and a bit hard work to create 400 separate steam accounts and still only be able to use them on free tracks. In the case of winning prizes, you can add the codes to any account so if you win a lot of them you can build up quite a library of content and even use them to create a new account to buy the premium pack with all current content. It´s not really an exploit, though.
Agreed it seems like a lot of work with very little pay off. Ive preferred to support the devs and not attempt this myself. That said the 500vrp welcome code sounds familiar.
